The story:
NBC forced to apologise after ill-timed ad features a monkey doing gymnastics – right after showing Gabby Douglas’ gold medal victory
My question:
When a single reporter mentioned “chink in his armor” in reference to an Asian basketball player, he was fired. So, how do we fire NBC — ALL of it?
My comment:
I am serious: how do we get this network’s license pulled and “redistribute” its wealth to better, more civilized Americans who will use the public airwaves responsibly.

hmmm…lets see. With NBC we are talking about an ad for a show, “Animal Pratice”, which had aired numerous times during the olympics just happened to be aired after after a black gymast won. (you do realize of course ads are preset?)
And you equate this to (actualy not one but two) ESPN hosts using “Chink in the armor” in reference to Jeremy Lin of the Knicks blaming him for the teams loss? I’ll admit- this *could* have been nothing more then a poorly chosen phrase, albeit one that did piss off a lot of people. But hey- that’s the corporate world- you make even a perceived mistake and your judas.
And now you insist that a preset ad, over which NO ONE had any control of the timing of when it came to this placement after a certain event, to call for the breakup of all of NBC???
