What’s Left Of My Z

The good news is that my son is OK. The bad is that my Z is a total loss.

According to witnesses, an Orange County deputy blew through a red light and t-boned my son, who had just pulled into the intersection after stopping at the light. We are lucky the impact was in front of the driver’s seat and the engine bay and the firewall took the bulk of the stress. He has a concussion and his right arm was hurt by the airbag deployment but we are very lucky that is all.

If it had happened just a fraction of a second later, the impact would have been directly on the driver’s door.

      • I do not know what is next on my bucket list of cars. Seems a waste these days.

Oh well, there is always my quickly approaching mid-life crisis to capitalize upon. :)

  1. Hope your son is ok.
I’m sure you are aware it can take 6-12 months or longer before damage to the back/neck can show up. MRI and
    keep an eye on him.
