I’m awfully curious to hear from the ladies. Here’s a little TMI, but I really don’t give a fat rat’s tiddlely-boomp! (M. can pull a Mr. Kells and delete to his heart’s desire…..I’m used to it.)
Um, I have been bleeding since last Saturday. (Not the 11th, but the Saturday prior……don’t have a calendar so I don’t know what that day is.) I suppose that’s what; 12 days or something? I’m very drained. Does this mean that I’m going through the change?
I will not see a doctor for there is absolutely nothing wrong with me. I have heard that a girl will get intense menses then no menses when she is going through the change. I think that is what is happening to me. Do any of you silly boys know?
Sweet baby, Augger; qu’est-ce que tu pense?
This is quite an inappropriate post, and I shall delete it after the doc replies.
Oh, this butt’s for you…..

See? things look 1/3 bigger in water
I’m to the far left. Thanks for all of your help…..
Kells, it is difficult to know without knowing you (the patient). The age when the signs of perimenopause occur varies among women. Most women notice perimenopausal signs in the 45-55 age range, although it varies, and some women never experience any symptoms. The average age for the final menstrual period is around 51 years of age. Additionally, if you have had a hysterectomy with one or both ovaries removed, you have the potential to experience immediate surgical menopause. If your ovaries were left intact, you could also experience perimenopause.
Some symptoms to watch for are:
• Hot flashes, night sweats, coldness
• Irregular periods that can be heavy, light, shorter or longer cycles
• Difficulty sleeping either getting to sleep or staying asleep
• Mood changes, anxiety, depression, irritability
• Heart palpitations (if you experience any heart disturbances, always consult a physician)
• Dry skin and/or hair loss
• Loss of or decreased sexual desire
• Vaginal Dryness
• Urinary Incontinence
There are a host of other symptoms, and these symptoms could also point to thyroid issues. As with all things medical, I strongly suggest that if you are not experiencing your normal state of health, then you should consult your physician who knows you, and your medical history.
Hope this helps.
PS – Who are the folks in the photo?
I also would not consider this “inappropriate”. Maybe misplaced, but there is nothing inappropriate about health concerns.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart….and my fat ass does too! Mr. Kells wanted me to see a doctor, but I thought that was silly. I figured heavy bleeding must be a sign. The beauty part is that I know what foods to eat
The folks in the photo are of me with some friends from another site. It was awfully fun meeting up with them. I dedicated an entire post to it as a matter of fact. I should like to meet up, take pics and do a post on all of you RNL boys. You and CCF have inspired me to write….
Once again, I thank you. (I will be over shortly to ravish you through your computer screen.)
“Mr. Kells wanted me to see a doctor, but I thought that was silly. I figured heavy bleeding must be a sign.”
Mr. Kells would be exactly right. Diagnostics would be merited. I would be interested in a CMP, CBC, T4, and TSH for starters. Your OB could do a pelvic if merited (I am no OB/GYN, and you could not pay me to be).
You just spoke in Spanish to me, baby. I know I do need to see the OB/GYN. I always put that off as well as that stupid-ass breast exam. I mean, they literally squish your tits in this stupid thingy….and it’s cold! Perhaps I would be more apt to getting my tits squashed if it were a cute fella doing the squishing….
I get grief all the time for not doing the “prescribed” amount of visits to the doctor. I just think that a person knows their own body….
“I get grief all the time for not doing the “prescribed” amount of visits to the doctor. I just think that a person knows their own body….”
No one ever asserted that you did not. Tell your MD what you know, and get the work up you need.
This is quite an inappropriate post>>>>hmm..I think this is a very important, especially for women.
hi…i am indonesian
Wow! Indonesia? I’ve never been there, but I would like to. I am Floridian. It’s very beautiful here (unless you pop into the local Wal-Mart….)
I will keep the post up, and I suppose I should go to the doctor, too.
Kells,.
I have no idea what is happening with you…………..please wait until it has passed to respond.
Too late…………….silly boy!
