Last night Republican Nominee for President Mitt Romney’s wife graciously spoke before the gathered delegates and gave a heartfelt speech. A speech in which she told how, as Mr. and Mrs. Mitt Romney, how they had ups and downs, like most American couples.

No, not yet, though she may become one. Right now, like it or not, the only American First Lady is Michelle Obama.
Using your intent… then we as of right now don’t have an AMERICAN first lady… period …. waiting for Jan 2013. Then in the first time in 4 years of my adult life I’ll be proud of my country. (not really, I’m proud of my country everyday, good or bad)
So, Joe, if Michelle Obama isn’t an American, what is she? This should be good.
James, Joe is referencing Michelle’s statement about being proud of her country for the first time, which was way too blunt and honest for their sensibilities. Of course when Bill O’Reilly said, in response to hearing the quote, that he would delay a lynching party until all the facts were in, that’s just Bill being Bill.

I’m very fond of your letters to the editor. Please let me know when you post one. I have trouble posting at the NH site; very frustrating! Also, I can’t for the life of me figure out how the hello to get an online subscription; their operators that I called didn’t have a clue…..I suppose I should try again. I’m very fond of reading Kent, Caz, Tony and Brady, to name a few. I’m also very fond of the opinions section.
