Mittmentum

Well it looks like Mitt Romney has a little momentum gained after the first Presidential debate. Don’t be fooled, the Obama campaign is busily scheming behind the scenes in an attempt to gain back the ground lost by the President in the first debate.  But maybe the American public at large has seen something in Mitt Romney that the President’s campaign has spent a fortune trying to keep hidden.

Mitt Romney is not evil after all.  Even if that 3/4 of a Billion dollar industry that is Sesame Street has to earn its way without help from the American taxpayer.

While the race to become President is certainly not over there are some interesting numbers worth looking at to gain some perspective away from the narrative the media displays.

The Romney Campaign is reporting the following….

Florida:

•      7 times more phone calls and 59 times more door knocks than this time in ’08

•      Over 8.5 million contacts since spring
North Carolina:
•      7 times more phone calls and 121 times more door knocks than this time in ’08
•      Nearly 3 million contacts since spring
Ohio:
•      3 times more phone calls and 25 times more door knocks than this time in ’08
•      Over 4.5 million contacts since spring
Virginia:
•      7 times more phone calls and 11 times more door knocks than this time in ’08
•      Nearly 4 million voter contacts since spring
Colorado:
•      2 times more phone calls and 3 times more door knocks than this time in ’08
•      Over 1.5 million voter contacts since spring
Iowa:
•      4 times more phone calls and 14 times more door knocks than this time in ’08
•      Nearly 1.5 million voter contacts since spring
New Hampshire:
•      2 times more phone calls and 7 times more door knocks than this time in ’08
•      Nearly 1 million voter contacts since spring
Nevada:
•      3 times more phone calls and 8 times more door knocks than this time in ’08
•      Nearly 1.5 million voter contacts since spring
Michigan:
•      3 times more phone calls and 12 times more door knocks than this time in ’08
•      Over 2 million voter contacts since spring
Pennsylvania:
•      4 times more phone calls and 37 times more door knocks than this time in ’08
•      Nearly 3.5 million voter contacts since spring
Wisconsin:
•      4 times more phone calls and 45 times more door knocks than this time in ’08
•      Nearly 2 million voter contacts since spring

Republicans head into the final stretch with growing momentum.

In fact, since Wednesday night’s debate, Romney Campaign Victory Offices reports having seen a 63% increase in volunteer traffic.

Americans are getting involved like never before as the choice in this election becomes clearer.

So as you can see this may not be what you are hearing from the media… but the media doesn’t report on ALL Americans, do they.  But they sure liked this lady….

  1. Kells; I liked your video; I did not know that you would be that photogenic on a video you made of yourself

Enough humor for today, I am seeing people more interested in Mitt and adult conversations about his potential ( pending )
    Presidency.

  2. I want to be like my hero, Barack Obama, and apologize for the video in my post. I know that it probably will offend something and will most certainly make those that view it dumber for having watched it. Sooooo. Sorry.
