It seems that many RNL readers think I am over-reacting in my assertion of treason where Obama and Benghazi are concerned. I understand this, we’re all used to everyone crying wolf for attention — and many here no doubt think I am among the most guilty of this. OK, fine, then you tell me what to make of this:
First, we know that the former SEALS who, as we now know, was working for the CIA in Benghazi trying to track down and destroy weapons that had gotten into the hands of the Libyan rebels (now KNOWN to be Al Qaeda):
One of the Americans killed alongside Ambassador Christopher Stevens in an attack on a U.S. diplomatic mission in Libya Tuesday told ABC News before his death that he was working with the State Department on an intelligence mission to round up dangerous weapons in the war-torn nation.
In an interview with ABC News last month, Glen Doherty, a 42-year-old former Navy SEAL who worked as a contractor with the State Department, said he personally went into the field to track down so-called MANPADS, shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles, and destroy them. After the fall of dictator Moammar Gadhafi, the State Department launched a mission to round up thousands of MANPADS that may have been looted from military installations across the country. U.S. officials previously told ABC News they were concerned the MANPADS could fall into the hands of terrorists, creating a threat to commercial airliners.
Now, this should be interesting because these are the same sort of weapons discussed in this story:
Recent footage has emerged of Syrian opposition fighters using old Soviet SA-7 heat-seeking missiles, which can destroy a plane flying at up to 14,000ft.
But the Soviets also claim these weapons include U.S. Stingers. From the same story:
A senior Russian general has said Syrian rebels now have anti-aircraft weapons, including US-made Stingers.
Which then leads us to this story:
A mysterious Libyan ship — reportedly carrying weapons and bound for Syrian rebels — may have some link to the Sept. 11 terror attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Fox News has learned.
Through shipping records, Fox News has confirmed that the Libyan-flagged vessel Al Entisar, which means “The Victory,” was received in the Turkish port of Iskenderun — 35 miles from the Syrian border — on Sept. 6, just five days before Ambassador Chris Stevens, information management officer Sean Smith and former Navy Seals Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were killed during an extended assault by more than 100 Islamist militants.
On the night of Sept. 11, in what would become his last known public meeting, Stevens met with the Turkish Consul General Ali Sait Akin, and escorted him out of the consulate front gate one hour before the assault began at approximately 9:35 p.m. local time.
Although what was discussed at the meeting is not public, a source told Fox News that Stevens was in Benghazi to negotiate a weapons transfer, an effort to get SA-7 missiles out of the hands of Libya-based extremists.
Now, you are free to believe all of this, all the connections between these stories are just innocent coincidences, but, for me, that strains the bounds of credibility. This is also why I took the time to write this post:
If you haven’t already, then go to that post and watch the videos in the two links I provided inside it. Just ignore the source for once and watch the clips. Then, if you can do that in light of what is in this post and still find excuses for this Administration… Well, you are more forgiving than I am. I bet George Bush and Ronald Reagan would have appreciated you giving them a little of that, too.
Oh, and one more thought: this is just the information we have been able to learn with a media that is actively running interference for Obama on this scandal. What else might we learn if the media (and Congress) were actually doing their jobs and digging into this story so they could tell us what really happened and why?
Throw this into the mix, too:
We later learned that the Muslim Brotherhood president of Egypt, Mohammed Morsi, was behind the attack.
We now know it was not initially an attack, but an attempted kidnapping of Ambassador Stevens to use him as a pawn to get their beloved Blind Sheik back.
What is most shocking, however, is that a source within the White House states that it was arranged as an October surprise by Barack Obama. Obama, in order to make the release of the Blind Sheik more palatable to the American people, and to boost his sagging approval ratings, arranged with the Muslim Brotherhood to kidnap Ambassador Stevens. Then, days before the election, acting the part of the hero, planned to release the Blind Sheik in exchange for Ambassador Stevens.
The plan was for security to be minimal at the consulate, protected by only Libyan security guards who would melt away into the night at the appointed time.
The plan fell apart as two former SEALs, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, fought the kidnappers, leading to a firefight and subsequent fire, killing Stevens, Woods, Doherty, and also Sean Smith, a communications specialist.
Obama then had to create a cover-up so massive that it will go down in the history books until the end of time.
If this information is true, then this is TREASON! And if you do not see the strength behind my charge, then… Well, I honestly do not know what to say to you. I would have to believe you would defend Obama if he were caught killing puppies and kittens with a club on liveTV (I can’t use babies, he has already done that with his abortion advocacy in Illinois).
The official position is that the US has refused to allowheavy weapons into Syria. But there’s growing evidence that U.S. agents—particularly murdered ambassador Chris Stevens—were at least aware of heavy weapons moving from Libya to jihadist Syrian rebels.
In March 2011 Stevens became the official U.S. liaison to the al-Qaeda-linked Libyan opposition, working directly with Abdelhakim Belhadj of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group—a group that has now disbanded, with some fighters reportedly participating in the attack that took Stevens’ life.
In November 2011 The Telegraph reported that Belhadj, acting as head of the Tripoli Military Council, “met with Free Syrian Army [FSA] leaders in Istanbul and on the border with Turkey” in an effort by the new Libyan government to provide money and weapons to the growing insurgency in Syria.
Last month The Times of London reported that a Libyan ship “carrying the largest consignment of weapons for Syria … has docked in Turkey.” The shipment reportedly weighed 400 tons and included SA-7 surface-to-air anti-craft missiles and rocket-propelled grenades.
