They both campaigned with President Obama to help him secure a second term. Now both First Lady Michelle Obama and former President Bill Clinton have landedGrammy nominations. Clinton won the category in 2005 for his autobiography My Life, while Obama’s husband has topped it twice — for Dreams From My Father and The Audacity Of Hope. Obama and Clinton are facing two top TV personalities in the Best Spoken Word Album field — Ellen DeGeneres (Seriously… I’m Kidding) and Rachel Maddow (Drift: The Unmooring Of American Military Power).
This deification of the Obamas and the cloying praise heaped on them for doing the most simple of simple things borders on the praise handed over to the leaders in the old USSR – and currently with the cult of personality in North Korea. The fawning of the media over Michelle Obama is sickening.

The title I like UP AGAINST THE WALL MOTHER F—ERS, WE COME FOR WHAT’S OURS! Remember this saying from the 60′s, believe it’s from one of the original Black Panthers, but I think of it every time I see a picture of the Obama’s.
I have said it before, now you reaffirm it. Anyone who has ever wondered how a people could fall for a cult of personality who then leads his/her nation into extreme evil (i.e. Hitler) need but look at our own society and how we are treating Obama.
I was chuckling throughout, but almost fell out of my chair laughing when, in the ad box above the sharing buttons, an ad for Target met mine eyes. There was a great big wave of adulation for Mrs. Obama when she was spotted shopping at a local Target (I live in north-central Virginia) — of the fawning, “ZOMG SHE’S REALLY JUST LIKE ME!” flavor.
I humbly submit my entry into the parade of titles: “What Would Michelle Do? A Guide to Getting Others to Do As You Say, Not As You Do.”
