In all honesty, I was not going to go out of my way to tout the current show that I am in, but after several positive comments, I had a change of heart.
On Friday, the 7th, we opened the show Why Do Fools Fall In Love? This is a musical comedy that takes place in the 60’s. The cast is comprised of four females who all have their own “relationship” issues. The songs are a compilation of popular 60’s tunes.
Admittedly, we had a few awkward moments last night, but with 20 rehearsals as opposed to 48, what does one expect? Tonight we were on. Sadly, it was performed for around 20 people. I’ve not seen advertising for this show save for Phil Lucas’ rag, The Bullet (which I’m very fond of – both he and his writing….. hint, hint, Phil!)
This show is at the Martin Theatre in Panama City. We have a matinee Sunday the 9th at 2:00 P.M. We then close next week with performances on Thursday the 13th, Friday the 14th, and Saturday the 15th at 7:30 P.M.
If you are NOT pleased with my singing voice, I will simply blame B. (Have to use caps for him…) Oh! Here are some pictures of our cast (I’m the cute one.)

Florida…ABSOLUTELY!…although I was knee-high to a Grasshopper in those halcyon Days, so don’t remember the lingo…the White-hat Gal definitely has ‘it’.
@M: Mr. Kells filmed some rehearsals. Maybe I’ll post those on my site. They’re useful for a good laugh.

Kells….A friend from North Carlolina I have been doing business with for close to 20yrs sent me a Thanksgiving E-Card that was interactive and too cute by 7….thought maybe this was one of those. I’ve never been to the Tampa area ( or Florida at All) but Mrs “Don” goes there frequently….likes it a lot………I have a cousin close by too.
We’re not in Tampa, silly boy. I tell you, I actually directed a show from a girl in Hickory, NC. It’s awfully funny. I cannot believe you’ve not been to the Sunshine State. I was born and raised in the briar patch…….with oranges.

Thanks, A&W! I hope you go more into what you were referring to in that other post. It is fascinating to me; but I do not understand it. I think on Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism. Unfortunately, that seems very simple compared to what you described. I’ve got a good excuse….I’m Lutheran.
