Because I’m such a kind and caring contributor, I thought it only fitting that the boys pull together their resources for a very cool Christmas gift……………………. for me. This electric cross-breed is so cool!

Apparently, this company didn’t receive taxpayer money, but got innovative on their own dime. It’s classified as a motorcycle, but looks and drives as a car—thus my reference to cross-breed– due to its body and this gyro something-ruther that the engineers incorporated. It also has landing gear so you don’t need the kick stand of a bike. Its battery is more compact than other hybrids, and so it is able to go 200 miles on a single charge. It can reach speeds of 100+ mph. Gosh, these people should hire me as their spokesperson!

On the road, you may drive it as a motorcycle, and you must obtain your motorcycle license to drive it. However; you can take your test driving this car, er, motorcycle!

Like a motorcycle, your passenger must straddle you in the back (I’ll not complain) and there’s room for a carry-on (sorta like your own sissy bar.) The company claims this vehicle will not tip over in an accident. Mr. Kells does not believe me, but he has not been to the site!

The C-1 will be coming out in 2014 with a starting price of around $24k. It will then drop to around $12k.

Now that I have passed along this pertinent information, I feel it only prudent that the boys start saving.
