Facebook Suspends Account For Questioning Official Narrative on Shooting
On Saturday, Connecticut state police warned that people posting “misinformation” on social media websites would be “investigated and prosecuted.”
Now, it may well violate FB policy, but I have to wonder about the selective application of this policy. If you watch the news, you have no doubt seen that FB and other such social networking sites have developed a pattern of “enforcing” policy against conservative and policitally incorrect opinions, while they seem to be deaf, dumb and blind when PD-approved violations are posted. Just Google it, you’ll see what I mean.
But setting this aside, did you notice that the Connecticut police have said they might prosecute people for spreading “misinformation” on social media? That was in the news – if you get your news somewhere other than Pravda West, that is. Well, if it is illegal for people to do it, then why is it NOT illegal for the media? How is it that the press has morphed into “news media,” and “news media” now requires “official” deification? Do you not understand that this is akin to saying the govt. gets to decide who can and can’t exercise their 1st Amendment rights? And then they can control the “approved” media by further threatening them.
the result: we live in a police state where the govt. either directly or indirectly controls the flow of information. I have a news flash for those who think you can live in such a society and still call yourself free — YOU CAN’T! This is the functional definition of organized propaganda, and that is a sure sign of tyranny.
Welcome to the infancy of the United States of AmeriKa!
