U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Matthew Phelps made history Saturday at the home of his commander in chief.
The 35-year-old active-duty officer proposed to his boyfriend, Ben Schock, 26, in the Grand Foyer of the White House at the end of a holiday tour.
It’s believed to be the first time two gay men have gotten engaged inside the White House, and a first for an active-duty member of the U.S. military.

It is a story because they are trying to beat down our social norms. This is actually one of the many manifestations of social engineering. It is also a clear indication that our society is experiencing the same moral decay that brought down the Greeks and Romans.
We see this decay manifesting itself the same way in all three societies because — at its core — the driving forces behind the real problem has been the same in all three instances: evil. Evil is real, it works in this world, and the more we try to deny/ignore it, the stronger it will become.
[NOTE: do NOT go off accusing me of calling homosexuals "evil." I did not do that. In fact, I intentionally ignored the men in this story. I am focusing on the underlying causes here, not the specifics in this particular story.]
