The truth is simple: Obama is driving this nation in the direction of fascism at an alarming rate, and we had best start applying the brakes now — before it’s too late. Now, I understand there will be many who will disagree with me, so this will not be an easy discussion. But still, it is a discussion we need to have, and I am offering it in deadly seriousness. Let’s start by being clear about what we mean:
Definition of FASCISM
1often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
2: a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control <early instances of army fascism and brutality — J. W. Aldridge>
OK, the first and most obvious objection will be the aspect of nationalism, but then, doesn’t Obama speak in nationalistic ways? Doesn’t he paint people who send jobs overseas or leave to avoid paying taxes as traitors? He does. So check nationalism off the list because it is there. Obama just doesn’t like the nation we’ve been, that’s all.
The next aspect people may object to is that of racism. But if you think Obama is not promoting one race over all others, then you haven’t been paying close enough attention. Search the RNL archives under race or racism and you’ll find that we have documented this aspect of Obama rather well. Or, if you prefer, listen/read Limbaugh’s take on it, because he’s right:
Next, fascism is usually associated with one-Party rule. Setting aside that this nation has been ruled by one Party pretending to be two for years, consider this:
So, does Obama show any signs of strong autocratic control?
Heck, even his roots as a community organizer are fascistic. Do you know what the root word for fascism, fascine, actually means?

: a long bundle of sticks of wood bound together and used for such purposes as filling ditches and making revetments for riverbanks
The bundling together of a bunch of sticks: sort of like “organizing” a community of different groups or people.
So, what other characteristics of fascism should we be looking for? Well, here’s a check list. Look it over and then ask yourself how many of these Obama has “checked off” along with the ones we just covered:
