I was watching the game last night and, when the power went out, I couldn’t help but think of the stories from the week before. We have a failing economy, the media no longer does its job, Obama gas will ruin your car… The list is long and growing. That’s when I thought of Ayn Rand’s novel, “Atlas Shrugged,” and couldn’t help but think of the parallels between the society in the novel from which the RNL takes its name and that in which we’re living. Now, I realize there will be people who dismiss me, but I still can’t help the feeling that we’re living in Ayn Rands world.
But not to worry: the ‘experts’ will fix it all by blaming it on the rich and greedy and tripling down on the same old failed ideas they have pushed for the past few centuries. And the result will be the same as well.
Hey, here’s a sobering thought: take Moucheville, throw in a Dewey education system and you get “Idiocracy.”
Don’t the future look bright? :-)
