Yes, that is what this next shining example of Leftist idiocy said. But wait, it gets better. Apparently, the only reason the cops carry guns is to use force on you and I “in a manner safe for them.” Here, check it out for yourself:

Setting aside the FACT that any and all weapons can be used either offensively or defensively – depending on the intended purpose of the person using them (something this guy is apparently incapable of understanding), what this “genius” has just said is that the police are there to intimidate and bully us, and their guns are meant to let them do it “in a manner that’s safe for them.”
Anybody else want to tell me the Left hasn’t gone stark raving mad AND bat-crap crazy? Or that their true nature hasn’t finally burst out into the light of day and revealed itself to be what we have always claimed: tyrants!

Yes, I read this earlier on the Washington Examiner. This so called police chief is truly a moonbat! I guess that Smith & Wesson M & P 15 my husband just bought me is going to be used as an OFFENSIVE weapon if I ever need it. But honestly, just when I didn’t think I could be more amazed at the stupidity that the liberals spout, someone comes along, like this police chief, and again astounds me.
It’s both a statement of Ignorance and ……as well as a set-up.:
By this reasoning….by “Experts” such as these ….. anybody who successfully defends themselves is guilty of “intimidation” and “aggression”.
They’re trying to start the whole….” If you shoot someone in your home in Self-defence, you will be prosecuted with a Gun-crime / hate-crime” BS again…..remember that ?

What they fail to understand is that the majority of them are too ignorant to rule themselves, let alone others. And those who aren’t stuck in the 1st grade haven’t the wisdom to understand that knowledge does not equate to understanding. Heck, we all have knowledge of gravity, but how many people actually, truly understand how it works? Same problem here with the moonbats and their following 😉
This is my life folks. Try buying a gun here, I’m a citizen, no criminal record, but I can’t go buy a gun. I went to get a gun. Instead, I got a booklet….to study. If I pass the written test I can take the gun handling test….if I had a gun. We are the gun-less NRA.
This police chief is just one town away, but the whole area is equally crazy. Police bad, criminals just misunderstood. We are all Oscar Grant. We are all Chris Dorner. We are all as crazy as bedbugs and twice as destructive.
My husband and I were just saying yesterday that our time in Oakland has changed us forever. Progressives, thug culture, Latino gangs, Vann Jones, Tides Foundation, multiculturalism, Code Pink, MoveOn.org…….these are our neighbors……and knowing them has left an indelible mark. I moved to CA a middle of the road Democrat, I will be leaving as something else entirely.

What amazes me is that everybody I know from California is right of center. They’re not all conservative, but they are all more conservative than liberal and they all vote and none of them ever seem to have voted for the liberal idiots who get into office. Am I just lucky in my interactions or is there something seriously wrong with voting in California that they keep electing these nuts, or electing nuts who appoint nuts like this police chief?
CA is a big state and there are many red counties inland. We have house near San Francisco and cabin 2.5 hours north of SF. When we bought the cabin it was a red county, but that has changed over the years, supported Obama in 2012. Same for LA, house in the beach town so liberal we don’t go there anymore, leased it.
We always vote, but I can tell you this, when we went to the polls in 08 the lady who took our ballots had on an Obama t-shirt.
They allow that in California? In Alaska, electioneering is completely banned. When I was up at the University, I saw students try to vote at the student center with t-shirts like that and they were told to go change if they wanted to vote. There was a drunk a couple of years ago talking about Lisa Murkowski when she was running and the poll sitters kicked him out. Our polling place is in a public school and President Obama’s photo normally hangs on the wall as you come in. They took it down for the election — as they took down GWB’s in the 2004 election.
I’m hoping that asteroid DA14 hits Washington DC or Los Angeles. Call me jaded.
So I guess to defend themselves, the police in CA stop, drop and roll?

Believe it or not, California used to be more or less a right of center state, even in Hollywood. That started changing in the mid-seventies and has gone down hill ever since.
