New blog in the blogroll…

We have added a new blog to the links, The Libertarian. Be sure to check them out…

As an intro, we present the Libertarian’s Creed, published at the site…

Man as a unique, spiritual being has the unalienable and natural right to live, live freely, and pursue his own legitimate interest. Never ever shall he live for the sake of another man, nor ever ask another man to live for his.

Man’s pursuit of his own happiness is guided by a moral order defined by Temperance, Prudence, Fortitude and Justice, all of which mandate man to attend to his own and his family’s well-being, to contribute voluntarily to the welfare of his community through good works, and to respect the same unalienable rights of others.

Government is but a necessary evil. It is not to interfere with said unalienable rights but to protect them. It is to restrict itself to the maintenance of internal and external security, the creation and maintenance of a suitable infrastructure that allows for the secure and free exchange of goods and services, as well as the protection of a free and independent judiciary.

Man’s and civil society’s interest are best served by the principle of subsidiarity, according to which any matter is handled by the smallest, lowest or least centralized authority.
