To my friends in the 8th Congressional district: Be warned, they are coming. Serial clown and reactionary liberal, Alan Grayson is tuning up to attempt to possibly unseat Republican Dan Webster.
Exhibiting that baseless cockiness that we have all come to love in Al the Birthday Party Clown, he brags to the Orlando Sentinel about his war chest:
Former U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson is reporting today that he already has raised more than $500,000 in the final quarter of 2011 — a big haul that should boost efforts by the Orlando Democrat to return to Congress.
The fundraising effort exceeds the $416,000 he raised last quarter and keeps him ahead of recent postings by local Republicans, including veteran U.S. Rep. John Mica of Winter Park, who heads the powerful House transportation committee. Mica raised about $185,000 from July through September.
“This is what People Power looks like,” said Grayson in a statement. His campaign noted that more than 12,000 supporters have contributed since Oct. 1 and that the average amount of these contributions is $42.
Grayson — best known for saying the Republican healthcare plan was for sick patients to “die quickly” — is running in a new Central Florida seat that the legislature is expected to create when finished with its once-a-decade process of redistricting.
Here’s the current map of FL-8:

Don’t elect this fool.
