Govt. Gun Grab – Through the Back Door

Have you seen this story yet:

Bank of America Allegedly Drops McMillan Gun Company For ‘Political’ Reasons

Today Mr. Ray Fox, Senior Vice President, Market Manager, Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking [of Bank of America] came to my office. He scheduled the meeting as an ‘account analysis’ meeting in order to evaluate the two lines of credit we have with them. He spent 5 minutes talking about how McMillan has changed in the last 5 years and have become more of a firearms manufacturer than a supplier of accessories.

At this point I interrupted him and asked, ‘Can I [possibly] save you some time so that you don’t waste your breath? What you are going to tell me is that because we are in the firearms manufacturing business you no longer what my business.’

‘That is correct’ he [said].

I replied ‘That is okay, we will move our accounts as soon as possible. We can find a 2nd Amendment friendly bank that will be glad to have our business. You won’t mind if I tell the NRA, SCI and everyone one I know that BofA is not firearms industry friendly?’

On the surface, this story may seem like “no big deal,” right?  WRONG!  It only seems innocent if you are not aware of the ties between Obama and the Bank of America (not to mention the hundreds of millions of dollars BoA has been given through the bailout process):

The Bank of (Democratic Party) America

Well, isn’t this rich? And I do mean rich. President Obama, man of the people, will deliver his presidential nomination acceptance speech at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. — so that Democratic Party fundraisers can reward big donors with skyboxes and other lavish perks.

Obama Administration Has Many Ties to Big Banks–And Protesters Occupying Wall Street Know It

According to the New York Times’ Michiko Kakutani, “one top banker quoted in these pages refers to [Geithner] as ‘our man in Washington ‘for helping avert more systemic changes affecting Wall Street.”

This cooperation between politically connected, monolithic corporations and government is called fascism, and no fascist nation in history has allowed its people to retain their weapons.  I have posted the quotes in the past from the likes of Janet Reno when she was Attorney General of the U.S. in which these people have told us they will confiscate our weapons, but no one wants to listen.  Now we see the govt./corporate tyranny moving to attack weapons at the source because they cannot change the laws, and no one wants to see…

    • Yes and no. The fed was created by Congress and – should they ever find the “bullocks” to do so – they could either audit, direct it or abolish it.

All these claims that corporations control the govt. are – in the end – the cart before the horse. If govt. wants, it can do to the corporations whatever they wish. Govt. allows corporations what freedom they have because it wishes to do so, and THAT is why I keep saying we have a fascist govt. — though Obama does seem to want to push more toward a form of Marxism.

      • So you don’t think corporations are in bed with the Fed? Somebody is. I find it extremely coincidental that presidents that wanted to end the Fed ended up dead. Another conspiracy theory of mine, I suppose….

        • Do you ever listen to me, or do you just type away without thinking? Seriously, I mean that?

Yes, of course I think corporations are involved with the Fed: the fed IS a corporation!!!

What I was saying is that – corporations aside – when it comes right down to which is the more powerful, the govt. ALWAYS trumps private interest as it can make the powerful private person “disappear” much easier than the other way around.

  1. Here’s another little surprise government is working up for us… On Thursday, Congress is set to begin consideration of H.R. 3523, the “Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act of 2011” (CISPA).

    Of course, this is a bleg for donations from the NAGR, but here is what they say this new law would do;

The fact is, if passed, CISPA would allow voluntary exchanges of personally identifiable information — including your firearms-related purchasing habits — to ANY government agency that wants it . . .

. . . including Eric Holder’s ATF and Justice Department.

CISPA was also written in broad enough fashion to potentially override every existing privacy law due to a “notwithstanding provision in law” clause that gives companies immunity for sharing your information with government agencies.

That’s why I need you to take action to stop this bill dead in it’s tracks just as soon as possible.

Please call your Representative right now at 202-224-3121 and demand a “NO” vote on H.R. 3523.

    • I’ll do my part, but you and I know it means nothing. We’ve reached the point where they will do whatever they want. Passing a law is just a formality for the sake of appearances – lest too many catch on too quickly and actually grab their pitchforks before the last nails are set in place 😉
