Your Tax Dollars At Work

Via the Washington Examiner:

Attorney General Eric Holder, the IRS, and the liberal lawyers at the ACLU will brief several hundred pastors in the African American community on how to participate in the presidential election — which the Congressional Black Caucus chair expects will help President Obama’s campaign…

Cleaver said they would not tell pastors which candidate to support. They will let them know who to regard as the good guys, though (hint: not Republicans). “We’re going to talk about some of the draconian laws that have cropped up around the country as a result of the 17 percent increase in African American votes,” Cleaver said, describing voter ID laws as a form of Jim Crow-style “poll tax” on seniors and black voters.

The CBC chairman is confident that “President Obama is going to get 95 percent of the [African American] vote,” and wants to keep that turnout high. “We want to let them know that there is a theological responsibility to participate in the political process, at least in the Judeo-Christian tradition,” he said.

  1. I hear the stampede of people lining up to accuse the Obama Administration of violating the separation of Church and State now…

No, wait. My bad. That’s the sound of reporters running to report the hope Obama and Holder are spreading through the black community by sharing their faith.

Is the question of double standards even open to debate anymore? <:-/

    • Oh, don’t worry, “we can break the law, because we are the ones that enforce the law….”
      Chicago Politics goes National….
What amazes me are the number of “Democrats” that keep a straight face through all this… B, I like your “furbies” analogy…. Only the Marxist-Democrats are much more dangerous…

    • I’m so glad that no one ever told our founding fathers such nonsense. We would have never become a nation – at least, not such as we are (or were).
