It could happen, probably has, but the vast majority of rapes throughout history are instigated by men. Young men mostly, but men, and with Grecian Formula, combined with skin tucks and man bras, the apparent age of a man matters little as to his potential to rape.
Now, I’m not saying that all men rape, I know one man for sure who has never done such a thing, and I am willing to concede that there might be many others who would never consider committing this atrocious act. Or would they? If there are men who supposedly think rape is such a horrible crime, then why do we never hear men apologize to the victims of rape for the actions of their fellow men? Is it because they sympathize with the rapist? Can there be any other reason?
Over the years, I have talked to many men, read their books, watched their movies. I have discovered that about all men think about is sex. Rape= non-consensual sex.
Pull your head out of the sand people. Men are the rapists, women are the victims. It it high time that men were held to account for their actions or, in the case of ‘innocent’ non-rapists, their blatant abetting of rape. Not a rapist? Let the world know, let your fellow man know, by wearing a DON”T WORRY, I AM ‘NOT A RAPIST” T-shirt, putting “I WILL NOT RAPE YOU” bumper stickers on your vehicles, and start introducing yourself to every woman that you meet by denying that you will ever rape her. By doing these things, you will put women’s minds at ease. Failure to do such merely begs one question whether you are either secretly in favor of rape, or a cheerleader from the sidelines.
I don’t have all the answers, I am only one man, but NOT A RAPIST, by the way. However, I do know that we have to do more than just teach women how to avoid rape, we cannot merely catch rapists, prosecute them, give them long sentences and counseling by therapists….therapist, the – rapist.
