‘Journalist of the Year’ and ESPN Writer: People Killed by Fast and Furious Just ‘Collateral Damage’
The American people need to stop being so darn “nosy” and demanding to know why our federal government recklessly armed murderous drug cartels with thousands of guns and then let them walk across the U.S.-Mexico border — at least according to CNN contributor and “Journalist of the Year”* LZ Granderson. He is also a senior writer and columnist at ESPN.
In an Op-ed posted on CNN.com on Tuesday, Granderson argues “times have changed” and “not everything is our business,” so we need to just butt out already. And as for those killed because of the operation? “Collateral damage.”
Notice how ‘concerned’ this ‘journalist’ is for the loss of innocent life.
This attitude is classic Woodrow Wilson: elect your dictator, then shut up and be quiet while the ‘experts’ run things. The problem is, this what this reporter is arguing for makes it impossible to maintain a free and self-governing society. Put this all together and you understand why the Left loves ‘democracy” but HATES representative republican rule of law: or, in other words, why the Left loves dictators and hates the founders.
Judging by the silence in the MSM, this is probably one of those things toy “don’t need to know:”
According to a “confidential report” prepared by the Sanford Police Department, Zimmerman willingly submitted to a computer voice stress analyzer (CVSA) “truth verification” on February 27. Investigators concluded that he “has told substantially the complete truth in regards to this examination.”
Zimmerman, the report noted, “was classified as No Deception Indicated (NDI).”
Along with questions about whether his first name was George and if it was Monday, Zimmerman was asked, “Did you confront the guy you shot?’ He answered, “No.” He was also asked, “Were you in fear for your life, when you shot the guy.” Zimmerman replied, “Yes.”
Do you remember ever reading one of my posts where I claimed the Left believes that they have a moral obligation to rule others, and that they believe the ends justifies the means? Were you also one of those who doubted me? if so, how many more times do I have to do this before you will start to understand that I am not lying?
