The leftists and the Euro-socialists are trying this on here in the UK – look for this if Obama gets a second term. Obamacare is just the first step.

Deceptively titled the “British Bill of Rights”, it creates new “rights” from thin air and hands the taxpayer the bill:

Benefits – literally translated as profit gained from something – only seem to have negative connotations. Headline after headline shows the extent people will go to take advantage of the goodwill of the Government and waste money on booze, fags and designer clobber as they enjoy the life of Riley on behalf of the hard-working taxpayer. And let’s not forget the fit-as-a-fiddle claimants who run marathons and scuba dive to the deepest depths yet insist they can’t walk to the end of their garden path.

For the Walter Softies on the political spectrum, these examples are so few and far between that they do not matter and should not be taken out of context. Yet it takes just one individual and one action to make a difference to others’ lives, and the cases that come to light merely scratch the surface of the abuse of the system.

The laissez-faire attitude of the left has been truly exposed this week though. David Cameron’s British Bill of Rights – meant to replace the Godforsaken Human Rights Act (aka the Charter for Heinous Rogues) – has shown its face after years of lurking in the wilderness. Advertised to the Right as a means of scrapping EU-approved pledges that give in to the demands of scumbags and scoundrels, the plan was that the UK would come up with a fairer system of its own where the nation could not be taken advantage of so easily.

So no more 5-storey Victorian townhouse mansions for immigrant families of 10 who MUST have a bedroom each (for children sharing is beneath us as a country), no more ‘be our guest’ pleasantries to foreign criminals ‘too scared’ to return home (and face justice) and no more allowing illegals to stay provided they buy a pet on their travels as this constitutes a hallowed ‘family life’.

But no. As usual, and unsurprisingly for David, our hope is shattered. For now the British Bill of Rights actually means that these people will get MORE rights. Not so much a watering down as a complete change of flavour. Because we mustn’t have a family of four living off less than £37,000 a year (as a Joseph Rowntree Foundation report suggested this week). Heaven forbid! Now plans are being drawn up that will enable the scroungers of the UK to SUE the Government if they don’t give them their minimum expectation of a quality life. Playstations and Xboxes all round!
