  1. Dusty, I was in the New Orleans area for Katrina, and we heard about these and other stories of Police Gone Wild on the VHF. At first I thought, it was just another set of unreliable stories, products of the rumor mill, but it was confirmed by the papers and on the radio in the next few days.
    New Orleans cops are among the rudest and most vicious I have ever encountered, and so crooked that they have to screw their socks on.

    • I can somewhat understand wanting to disarm potential looters, but stopping a million plus dollar yacht (going away from the downtown area) and taking their hunting rifles is ridiculous. The lady preacher made me feel good about how hard parts of life can be dealt with……………..
