The conservative pundit I most respect, admire and identify with has just made the same mistake that all the rest of them are making (or he’s actively working to prevent people from saving this nation — it’s one of the two). Mark Levin is right about the TEA Party but wrong about what we need to do:
Conservative scholar, talk radio host, and former Reagan administration official Mark Levin said conservatives need to first overthrow the Republican establishment to more successfully take on President Barack Obama and the institutional left.
Why do we “have to overthrow the Republican leadership?” We’ve been hearing and trying that since Reagan: where has it gotten us? DEFEATED, that’s where! Mark, I love you — really I do — BUT YOU ARE WRONG! So wrong that I have started to wonder whether you, Hannity and Limbaugh are the Republican Party’s Jessie Jackson: intentionally keeping us on the party reservation.
Look, this is simple: it is easier to build a new Party than to defeat existing leadership that is already entrenched and in control of the Party.
There’s another reason Levin is wrong, wrong, WRONG! The TEA Party is the solution, but stats show that nearly 1/3 of the TEA Party is made up of….DEMOCRATS! They are NOT going to join the Republican Party to help overthrow the Republican leadership. There are quite a few Libertarians and independents in the TEA Party, too, and the same goes for them. No, if you want their help, YOU NEED A NEW PARTY!
Anything else is just stuck on stupid.
