Well, that is about what they did in this story:
Twinkies Maker Hostess Going Out of Business
“We deeply regret the necessity of today’s decision, but we do not have the financial resources to weather an extended nationwide strike,” CEO says
The new union motto:
Why live on what you have when you can strike and have NOTHING!
Now, On the SERIOUS side:
The union in this case represents the same mentality as the Left in Washington. So let me ask you: how do you “negotiate” with people who would rather burn down everything than give up anything?
How very odd. I just commented on this post, but I could’ve sworn M. wrote it. Am I going crazy?
Kells,
Going??? 🙂
Ha dee ha ha ha.
My comment was funny. (At least to me.) I said: Whos’ the Ding Dong now? I went on to say that I was looking for Sno Balls for this show. I wondered if Hostess was the maker and I did a search. Sure enough, they are. So it looks as though the character, Dee-Dee, will have to eat a Little Debby or something.
There is so much in that comment for Utah and Augger to play with, and I’ll leave them to it. I’m not even gonna get in the same room with it. 🙂
Well, I was wondering if Hostess might send all of it’s remaining ding-dongs to Kell’s house for her to play with. 😀
Why? I play with you ding dongs daily.
Joe beat me to it by seconds…I deleted mine.
Sorry boss. But then, great minds… So it only goes to reason I would be following in your tutelage 🙂
I’ve been vindicated! I’m not going crazy! Oh, my. I’ve just noticed something odd about the names they assign to treats….
Typical, the parasites eat the host and then complain that it’s dead. “who is going to feed me now”. Don’t worry, Obama will steal my 401k that I’ve worked for since I was 14 and give that to you too.
I’ve asserted something similar to this before Trappendica, and I got called insane for stating it. I stated “the problem with parasites, is that one day they kill the host, and the parasite soon follows”.
That union got what it deserved.
All kidding aside, a major American company was just wiped from the landscape, courtesy of unions. As a side note, all those people had jobs. They don’t right now. But the unions are still strong.
I get this image of a bunch of FSA warriors lined up on the horizon, with Trumka front and center raising his fist, roaring down the hill to the Hostess factory. What was the grievance? 8% pay cut? How does that look on a resume? “Worked for Hostess, 15 years, chaired a committee on the Union.” https://therionorteline.com/2012/11/15/why-do-i-believe-leftists-do-not-understand-objective-reality/
You know what’s really sad? If you surf progressive sites and read their comments. “This corporation is worth billions. Its CEO makes millions, but they’re going to kill all these jobs because a black man was elected.”
I have to scratch my head and say, “huh?”
Kells,
The majority of those on the Left do not understand objective reality. They have been trained in post modernist thinking, therefore, they create their own realities and then react as though the real world is the abomination when things do not go according to their dreams. Simply put: they have broke with reality.
Oh no, it’s true, executives are so racist that they would shut down their businesses just to send a message to Washington and undermine Obamanomics.
Actually, the stupidity of the FSA is a little alarming. Correct me if I am wrong, but where blind prejudice exists on such a massive scale, persecution usually follows.
