This is not an ant-gay post. I thought the title was funny due to the takeoff on the patriotic English song “Rule, Britannia”. The post is about the power of the state over the culture and its ability to indoctrinate children against their parent’s wishes.
The actual lines from the song are taken from a poem by James Thomson:
When Britain first, at Heaven’s command
Arose from out the azure main;
This was the charter of the land,
And guardian angels sang this strain:
“Rule, Britannia! rule the waves:
“Britons never will be slaves.”
Wonder if Thomson would feel the same way if he heard this: teachers in the UK could be fired for not teaching homosexuality to primary school students – that is correct, primary school students:
Primary school teachers ‘could face sack’ for refusing to promote gay marriage
Primary school teachers could face the sack for refusing to promote gay marriage once same-sex unions become law, a minister has signalled.
Liz Truss, an education minister, refused to rule out the possibility that teachers, even in faith schools, could face disciplinary action for objecting on grounds of conscience. Miss Truss said simply that it was impossible to know what the impact of the legislation would be at this stage.
Her admission came in a letter to a fellow Conservative MP, David Burrowes, last month.
Mr Burrowes, a practising Christian, originally wrote to Maria Miller, the equalities minister, raising concerns about the impact on schools of the Coalition’s plans to change the marriage laws. It followed the publication of a legal opinion by Aidan O’Neill QC, a barrister in the same London chambers as Cherie Blair, commissioned by the Coalition for Marriage, which campaigns against same-sex unions.
Mr O’Neill, an expert on human rights, was asked to advise on the impact redefining marriage to include same-sex couples could have on schools, churches, hospitals, foster carers and public buildings.
Among his conclusions was that schools could be within their statutory rights to dismiss staff who wilfully fail to use stories or textbooks promoting same-sex weddings.
As I wrote a few years ago about the UK:
I saw a once proud people reluctant to fight for themselves and the country of their parentage. A country that has become so lost in illegitimate recriminations of their history, so absorbed in multiculturalism and political correctness, that they have lost their confidence and pride. Without firing a shot, the Islamists, the unions and the Marxists/Socialists in the national government have done what Hitler and the Nazis couldn’t. They have brought a once mighty empire to its knees. England has fallen and Britannia will never rule the waves again.
England’s situation is relevant to us. We should learn from their examples – history is a valid teacher. Look to England if you want to see a picture of America’s potential future. A country that loses pride in its history and confidence in its people, one that bases its intrinsic worth on recriminations and deviant, out of context visions of its accomplishments, will eventually destroy itself.

A referee is about to be dismissed for allegedly calling a player a “monkey”.
I could not find the link, but there is a government funded organization in the UK that posted a website, with literal instructions for adolescents on different sexual behaviors.
A search for “Obamacare sexual education” brings up items like this:

If any of you are watching this mess called the American Music Awards right this second you would have seen a bunch of homosexual nancy boys and other assorted strange characters prancing around in next to nothing on the stage while a blond woman in leather sang bad music. Pitiful.
