THIS Is Why Ron Paul = IDIOT!

Did you see this?

Ron Paul tweets about SEAL sniper’s death: ‘He who lives by the sword dies by the sword’

In case this idiot — meaning Paul — is ignorant of the fact, or he simply ignored it because the fact doesn’t suit his narrative, this former sniper was trying to help a fellow vet with PTSD.  That’s hardly “living by the sword,” that’s extending a helping hand to a fellow human being.  But Paul doesn’t care.  His agenda is pacifism — even to the point that he would surrender this nation to avoid a fight.  His supporters will be angry about that, but I read his book on Liberty and I never saw more than a Progressive-like wave of his rhetorical hand in the direction of defending this nation.  He never once states clearly that he would do so, or under what conditions — ever.  Instead, he pays the notion just enough lip service to hide the fact that he would disarm this nation the same way Obama is doing.

But even if we disagree on policy, to attack a person who served this nation in this way is to attack the people who defend this nation.  This former SEAL didn’t send himself to war, RON PAUL DID!  And so did every one of us who allow our government to implement the policies it is implementing in the Middle East.  What’s more, how can Paul claim to support the Constitution if he is going to attack the people who are sent in harms way by what’s left of our Constitutional process.  This entire story makes me want to jack-slap this old fool.  But then, none of this matters to his supporters.  They believe anything the man says, which is how they come to agree that Paul voting for pork in his district is actually fighting pork.  I think the Paulbots must have a touch of the same insanity as the Progressives.

This is why I reject Ron Paul and his notion of the way this country should be: because our founders were not the pacifists that Paul would have us believe them to be. If Paul had been around during the Revolution, he would have been a Tory!  The truth is, this former SEAL was just doing what he was told to do.  The blame for his death — if there is any other than with the man who shot him — doesn’t lie with him, but with the nation that sent him to war.  Paul should look in the mirror rather than make comments directed at this American hero.  He was in Congress.  He had more to do with this man going to war than the SEAL did, therefore, Paul is more to blame for his death than the SEAL.

This is why I cannot and will never support Ron Paul or those who stand with him. Saying something like this is does not advance the cause of liberty. In fact, it’s little different than what the code pink people do. Which means, in the end, all Paul really stands for is anarchy — not liberty. And anarchy has an awful lot in common with the Marxist Left, or haven’t you noticed that they tend to side with each other? (OWS, anyone?) Do you know what the common thread is? They both want to tell you what to do and how to live.

  1. I also question Ron Paul’s agenda …. It may be pacifism as you say. But he is a Strong supporter of the Islamists in some regards…who are Violent !!!. So hypocrit comes to mind at the very Least.

SEALS protect us, with great sacrifice from them and their families ….simple as that…. God Bless Kyle and his family

  2. Surprisingly Joe, Ron Paul himself is a veteran. And to Mr. Paul, “f*** you buddy! We understand you, and you sir are a jerk. And I only call you sir because of my moral upbringing. You truly aren’t worth the effort.”

  3. Ron Paul voted AGAINST the war in Iraq, Idiot! He was steadfastly against our involvement there, saying different shows how truly ignorant you are.

    • “Ron Paul voted AGAINST the war in Iraq, Idiot! He was steadfastly against our involvement there, saying different shows how truly ignorant you are.”

Welcome back Greg. Did I miss something. All I saw Don state was “But he is a Strong supporter of the Islamists in some regards”. I never saw a statement from Don that Paul supported military action in Iraq.

Maybe it’s the Scotch, but I think I am missing something here.

        • No, I see it now. You are referring to Joe’s statement in the OP, but firing at Don for no apparent reason, and now shooting at me.

Flippant as ever I see. Consider a douche to ease your troubles. 🙂

          • Did you get smarter in my absence? I think not. Ameche thinks I am some agent of the darkside, part of a cabal of progressives or something. But my response to him applies equally to the majority of you morons.

            • Ameche KNOWS you are an Islamo-facist apologist …. from the Pearls of wisdom dropped from Ur own lips inbetween helpings of CoCo puffs.

As to Ur absence … even when U R here you are absent ……..Such is the Great Circle of Life I suppose.

But…..We are graced Tonite by Words from the “Fluers Du Mal-famy” … we R blessed.

                • Didjah ever look up the Palistian-Nazi-Hitler connection that U claimed wasn’t true….Hhhhmmmm Pundit Malfamy ????…….The Serbian Tank Divisions serving under the Nazi’s….the meeting with Der Furher….??

Those R rhetorical questions of course … we all knowz the answers … nite-nite Pajama-Boy. Have urself a Habermas tuck-in…..S’been-fun.

                  • Give me a link to your fantasy, maybe I will look at it. In case your alcoholic brain has lost the brain cells, you should know that one must back up their assertions.

                • Your Illness is definitely out there flappin in the wind Mal-femy…..

‘Mal a la ‘ for sure ….. pure 100% Jew hater ( and no I’m not Jewish)…..amongst other Liberal illnesses.

Yeah right I get it Ur not anti-Jew ur anti-Zionist and etc.

                  • I saw a ray of sunshine today,
on my way once again to be questioned.
Another day starts at Guantanamo Bay
As I begin my fifth year in this prison.

                    I squint at the sight
through a door on the right,
                    tropical sun shining bright
on the dead face of Faysal, from Yemen.

Sunlight’s often used as a symbol of hope, and
in like manner so are doors yet unopened.
What this light shows only deepens my gloom,
heavy steel doors open to portals of doom.
Such is the evil done here in these rooms.

The questions begin with a fist to the chin,
long shocks with the prod leave me shaken.
Come, Salim. Tell all, or your pal down the hall
won’t be the only corpse wrapped up in bacon.

I’m a simple man, just protecting my homeland
from invaders, I cry, as any man surely would.
After you good guys smart-bombed my garden,
The men you call bad gave my poor family food.

I have nothing to tell them
save names of now dead men,
names given so many times before.
Long hours in chains, the guards re-awaken
me, wipe their shoes on me, spit on my sores.
The time is measured in three-hour phases
as fresh faces demand answers once more.

Then a doctor declares me well,
says take this man back to his cell
He’s lucky this one, the sonuvagun
For his lawyer has gotten him sprung.

My guards seem happier than I for me,
                    a backslapping show of camaraderie.
But I forget what it means to be free.
Faded are the faces of those I adored
erased by a wave on the waterboard.

Mixed in my mind are winter, prison, and war
snowballs and grenades, missiles and sleighs.
The snow-white hue of Faysal’s dead face,
                    blood-angel shapes on a lime-green floor.

An unmarked jet now carries me back
I appear in one piece, but mercy I lack,
I left it at Gitmo, along with my honor.
When I alight, I’ll seek guns and armor
Thanks to America, I’m no longer a farmer.

            • There you have it folks. Greg is the 2013 poster child of the benevolent liberal movement.

Welcome to the future rot of the America folks.

                • Fortunately for me then because I never relied upon the entitlements of my peers. I practiced self-determination, and worked diligently to obtain grades more than adequate to gain admission to all of the medical programs that I personally chose to attend.

You see Greg, I am not a dependent of anyone. Unlike you “entitled” thinking lurches, I provide for myself without presupposing that I have a right to any other persons wealth, resources, or belongings … simply because I exist. Rather, I take control of my own life, and the responsibilities that go along with it.

Rights aren’t subject to your perception my ‘need’. And if that does not make sense to you, my fat little friend, then maybe this will …. because f**k you! (another for Kells). 🙂

                • “get over yourself, little man”

And there you have it. When the dispute is lost, and you can do more, leave a parting shot ….

                  Owned.

                  • Is that a tenet of the Right-Wing manifesto? Declare yourself the winner when you are on the ropes, getting pounded by logic, reason, and facts? Anyone can make themselves look good, who in here is gonna refute your story? We’re supposed to take your arguments at face value because you’re a champeen bootstrap-puller?

I just dropped in to remind you, joe utah, what congenital liars you are. Okay, back-pedal, I’ll be kind, deliberate distorters of the truth

                • Is this the tenet of the benevolent Left-Wing manifesto? Behave like a crazed imbecile, and demon everyone around you when you do not like to hear that a single man, can succeed in life without one of your crazy f**cking entitlements? And you want to discuss logic, fatty? Lets.

I wrote: “Welcome back Greg. Did I miss something. All I saw Don state was “But he is a Strong supporter of the Islamists in some regards”. I never saw a statement from Don that Paul supported military action in Iraq.”

Yeah, “Welcome back” was all aggression in the eyes of a crazed liberal such as yourself. However, it was pretty freaking clear that I was not following your logic, but yet you in ALL OF YOUR BENEVOLENT liberalism felt utterly compelled to respond with:

                  “Brain matter, is my guess”

I even followed up with: “No, I see it now. You are referring to Joe’s statement “

To which you display even MORE benevolent liberalism in firing yet a second ad hominem attack:

“Did you get smarter in my absence?”

And now you are going to act all butt-hurt because the big bad bully Augger decided to fight back. Well “wha, wha, wha. Let me pull out a violin for the victim. Of course, you can twist it all you like (we get it, you support the other flippant benevolent liberals), but you … are an asshat. Go crawl back under your rock (well, if you can fit under your rock that is).

Who knows, maybe your life will improve with proper use of your anti-psychotics, or maybe just simply getting a little nookie from the misses once in a while might do the trick. Who know? Who cares? I don’t because “f**k you!” (Kells loves it when I do that). 🙂

                  • Let me see here…the man who calls Obama supporters the FSA, who talks as if no liberal could possibly have made it in life without some one else’s money, claims to be offended by an accusation of same. What’s the difference?
I will tell you the difference, dimbulb. You would never tell anyone to their face that they are lazy tax cheats who live off your hard work, because you know that you would likely get an inconvenient story that does not fit your self-serving worldview..
I know you can be a good guy, augger, but you poo-poo the idea that anyone who votes democratic is anything but a one-dimensional beggar who is less deserving of respect than your narrow-minded self.

I did not make captain because i was entitled, and I did not earn the respect of my fellow captains and my crews by being a shrinking violet. I have had to face down some hard boys, ex-cons and street fighters, in my day, and I have worked side by side with those same deckhands when heavy seas were breaking wires and threatening to split our 8-barge tow into its separate components.
If you and your fellow neanderthals treated others with respect, you would get respect from me. Until then unfuck you, because you don’t deserve a fuck.

                  • FC and Kells are in your camp more than they are in mine, but I respect them, because they respect other peoples’ points of view. When Joe shuts up about lib=nazi eugenics, his ‘the only good muslims are ex-muslims crap, and Soros the anti-communist hating America(in code that only he can understand, mind you), he is capable of cogent thought, and I would give him props at those rare times.
You guys are basically bullies, without the ass to back it up.

                • Malfamy-the-Malicious’s last comment about Joe is a Perfect example of the Left’s version of “Compromise” and “Compassion” and “Civil Discourse”.

If Joe gives up his knowledge and Opinions then Mal-famy will grant him his ( Malfamy’s) “Seal of Approval”.

To the Left is always is and always will be…. “It is our way or the High-way” !!

                • And uhmmmm …. Captain…

People make Captain for all sorts of reasons …. favoritism being High on the list … Petreaus and McCrystal and countless other recently are clear example that Rank does not necess equal honor.

So….here’s UR own advice given back to U…..”Get over yourself Little man..”

                • “Let me see here…the man who calls Obama supporters the FSA”

Yes I do. You, yourself are a believer in the Free Shit Army. You’ve said as much here while whining “Reagan took away my free healthcare”.

“who talks as if no liberal could possibly have made it in life without some one else’s money, claims to be offended by an accusation of same. What’s the difference?”

                  1. It wasn’t me that stated “You didn’t build that. Someone else did.” 2. I do not redistribute other people’s wealth. See the difference?

“You would never tell anyone to their face that they are lazy tax cheats who live off your hard work, because you know that you would likely get an inconvenient story that does not fit your self-serving worldview..”

                  Care to wager on that?

“If you and your fellow neanderthals treated others with respect”

I give what I receive. Deal with it. And you are right. I don’t deserve a fuck. What I do deserve is this nice home I live in, and this fancy car I drive, and this fine Scotch I drink … unlike those in the Free Shit Army living in section 8 housing right off your very Sherman Ave, all the while driving $100,000.00 M Series BMWs.

Unlike them, I earned my life style. I did not steal it from someone else.

“FC and Kells are in your camp more than they are in mine, but I respect them, because they respect other peoples’ points of view.”

Yeah, once one is genuinely offered. However, you really don’t offer a point of view other than “Give me a link to your fantasy, maybe I will look at it. In case your alcoholic brain has lost the brain cells, you should know that one must back up their assertions.” — and I bet you expect them to respect that point of view … just because you gave it.

“When Joe shuts up about lib=nazi eugenics, his ‘the only good muslims are ex-muslims crap, and Soros the anti-communist hating America(in code that only he can understand, mind you), he is capable of cogent thought, and I would give him props at those rare times. You guys are basically bullies, without the ass to back it up.”

In ‘respect’ for your benevolent point of view … why do I need to speak out in public like this? Because I have a right to free speech, and to petition my government for redress of grievances. And also because f**k you, that’s why.

And like I told that other little proto-Marxist the other day. I am tired of justifying myself to idiots who have read none of our founding documents, and don’t understand the basis of rights.

The audacity of your hypocrisy is expected, and as expected, I had to point it out to you once again. And why? Because f**k you, that’s why. Again, rights are not subject to your perception of my ‘need’.

                  • See? You repeat lies over and over. How many bmw’s sit in front of section 8 housing? Misquoting Obama, or truncating his quote, those are the actions of haters, people uninterested in the truth. People like you. That is the off-putting crap that isolates you and the other crazies in here. You guys are in such a bubble, you actually thought Romney had a chance, even as he dissed 1/2 of the American electorate, and tried to hide the fact that he pays a smaller percentage in taxes that either you or I.
We aren’t getting anywhere, augger. You will spend your life being angry with your fellow citizens, and die a bitter lonely man. And I don’t care.

                • “See? You repeat lies over and over. How many bmw’s sit in front of section 8 housing?”

The car sits there to this day. I’ve even posted it (with photos) here to the RNL. So yeah, lies. I get it. Claim it’s a lie, and it is so. The liberal mentality. BTW – is one any less worse than 2? After all, it’s still corruption. Let me ask you this, how many blinged out cars do you see in front of Sect 8 housing with $3,000 dollar plus bowling ball paint jobs, hydraulic suspensions, 22’+ rims, and sound systems that rival most concert halls? Fortunately for your brand of denial, the food stamp gang don’t have to go down to 11th street to pick up their stamps anymore.

“Misquoting Obama, or truncating his quote, those are the actions of haters, people uninterested in the truth. People like you.”

I stand corrected, and I do thank you for that. Let’s just reminisce about the assine statement in all of it’s FULL glory:

“If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.”

By the way, how many quotes have you truncated, as an action of a hater, shows me how uninterested you are in the truth. Liberals just like you! Hypocrite.

As far as the Romney dig goes … well, you know full well how us “crazies” felt about that dolt.

                  “We aren’t getting anywhere, augger.”

Well f**k, even a broken clock is right twice per day. Good job! (see, I can placate your sensitivities Greg)

“You will spend your life being angry with your fellow citizens, and die a bitter lonely man. And I don’t care.”

Actually Greg, I am pretty darn happy with my life. It’s just the kind of life I envisioned for myself (as long as you proto-Marxists stay the hell out of it). I’ve got everything I need, and done everything I’ve ever chosen to do. I have a nice home, fancy cars, nice looking girls to date (and yes Kells, I prefer the ones with Tattoos), and as I said before … I live my life on my own terms. No excuses. Interesting thought though, you seem to strike me as a bitterly aging old man who likely has found himself in a home less worth the money than you paid for it, in a declining neighborhood with a pristine view of a school, or perhaps rental properties … and because someone else made different choices, and fared better … you are pissed.

And please, pretty please … do not care about me for one moment. I honestly do not want to be demonized for any depression you might suffer as a result of …

                  • obviously, the right-wing brain is wired differently, if you see that quote as a bad thing.

We both like Gary Johnson better than Obama, but you are so hateful of anyone who doesn’t think like you, that you still think I am the enemy. Well I am, I am the enemy of you liars, I am the enemy of your hate and your phony christianity. Face it, Augger you are a jerk

                • “obviously, the right-wing brain is wired differently, if you see that quote as a bad thing.”

You are right Greg (that’s twice today … supporting my broken clock Law), the right-wing brain IS in fact wired differently. Where as we see the fruits of our efforts as ours … through self determination, the left-wingers see only the dependency on a centralized government where it’s leaders are exhalted as Gods who feel that no one can do anything alone.

I suppose in your world, wiping one’s own ass is impossible as well. So just who wipes your ass for you Greg?

“We both like Gary Johnson better than Obama, but you are so hateful of anyone who doesn’t think like you, that you still think I am the enemy. Well I am, I am the enemy of you liars, I am the enemy of your hate and your phony christianity. Face it, Augger you are a jerk”

No Greg, this is where are you wrong once again. I don’t hate you, or anyone else who doesn’t think like me. That my friend is thought as a product of your own self-flattery. I’m honestly indifferent to you personally. That day came on the day you introduced that I was nothing but a Font to you.

However, if there is an element of hate involved, maybe that operant conditioning came as a response to the statements such as those you just offered. You reap what you sew Greg … even if you believe the Federal Government is responsible for regulating your impulses.

Now what I do hate is the repeated flippant hypocrisy that I have to cope with on a daily basis. Anyone can be excused for a mistake on occasion, but the rampant audacity of the liberal mentality which is so utterly prolific in today’s news, and which resonates down to simpletons such as yourself, who then regurgitate it as if it were their own thought processes is literally nauseating to those of us not sucked in to it.

But that’s ok my friend. The fruition of this latest liberal push is coming. As this jerk that I am predicted, you are seeing it in the fleeing of the rich from whack-assed liberal states such as California. You are seeing this fruition in the CBO reports concerning Obamacare. Oh, and what was that again about getting to keep your insurance? Yeah, we “right-wingnuts” sniffed that one out pretty f**king fast, now didn’t we? A person could go on, and on, and on about these crazy liberal initiatives, but I think that even should have enough intellect (maybe just barely) to see it. All you have to do is … accept it.

Denial though is such a grand thing, now isn’t Greg?

                  • Augger, I never liked the helth care act, but you are so convinced that everyone who thinks different than you is has one mindset, one set of beliefs. That must be comforting to you, sure makes it easy to hate people when you don’t have to personalize them. And don’t tell me that calling more than half your fellow americans beggars is not hateful.

                    • “Augger, I never liked the helth care act, but you are so convinced that everyone who thinks different than you is has one mindset, one set of beliefs. That must be comforting to you, sure makes it easy to hate people when you don’t have to personalize them. And don’t tell me that calling more than half your fellow americans beggars is not hateful.”

As Reagan would say; “Now there you go again.”. I will try to keep it simple for you, Greg. Meanwhile, have whomever in your family that has control of your one brain cell return it to you for this, please.

                      1. You are wrong about the one mind-set thing Greg. About the only thing common under that big tent umbrella that you liberals cater to is the mass mental disorder that the liberal movement has become. In fact, the shit you folks come up with is so utterly amazing, it is quite fun to see what other lunacy comes next. (Though I still get chuckles every time I think of Guam tipping over.)

                      2. I never said that half of Americans were beggars. That sir, is your lie (speaking of liars). I literally separate the truly disadvantaged from the Free Shit Army, but it isn’t my fault if you cannot face that in order to support your position on my jerkness.

Now, is there anything in that post that is not clear to you in some way? I really did try to keep it simple as possible.

                    • “And now the whole nation — pulpit and all — will take up the war-cry, and shout itself hoarse, and mob any honest man who ventures to open his mouth; and presently such mouths will cease to open. Next the statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting the blame upon the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those conscience-soothing falsities, and will diligently study them, and refuse to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception.” Mark Twain, on the Spanish-American War, but it could have applied to the run-up to the Iraq fiasco

                    • Sort of reminds me of Pelosi and Emanuel. I would include Jay Carney and Wasserman-Schultz, but they are too stupid to understand Twain.

Actually, Pelosi is too stupid by herself, but thankfully shes very “one percenter” rich (but isn’t affected by the latest tax hikes) that she can have a full time educator to read for her.

                    • wrong again Pelosi is one smart lady Mitch McConnell is stupid. His one goal was to make Obama a term president, never mind what he had to do to the country to do it, and he failed. Stupid is keeping him in his job.

Bobby Jindal is right, yours is the stupid party. this thread is proof

                    • And folks with this last offering from our Dear Gregory, I rest my case. 🙂

Greg, do yourself a favor and sit on the bench. Bring McPherson on over for me to beat on. He’s able to summon a few more brain cells.

                    • I agree, Mcpherson is too smart, he realizes that you and utah and Joe are completely hopeless. He thinks that you are a sycophantic ass-sucker, permanently attached to Utah’s backside.

                    • If you think McPherson is too smart, then boy oh boy you hang around a low-bar caliber citizen.

But then again … you do hang around McPherson. How’s his ass taste? 🙂

                    • I should be more charitable when you try to ape my humor, but twas there ever a dog that praised its fleas?

McPherson is smarter than I, and that makes him smarter than anybody in this room.

                  • If Obama’s a commie, is it because of his Mommy

and the Muslims who washed his young brain clean?

To believe that, buddy, you’re almost enough dumb to be

Intubated and wired to beeping machines.

True, he’s not the best ever United States Pres,

However, he is far from the worst

His position stays one away from Rutherford Hayes

But Nixon, in worseness, comes first.

You don’t think the globe’s cooking, yet you swear Iran’s nuking

when there is less proof for the latter

The facts they are concocting, you say of the scientists looking

Your ignorance makes me that much sadder.

On a basis that’s daily, you support all actions Israeli

                    can’t criticize That socialist state

Who cares if they censor me, they’re fulfilling God’s prophecy

Is free speech really that great?

But let the Muslims fight to be free, and you cry ‘conspiracy!’

Arab Spring is a Caliphate plot!’

In their struggle I see our own founding revolutionaries

In your hypocrisy I do not.

So go on pretending you want freedom for all

you say let every man find his niche

But I know you don’t care if the poor rise or if they fall

As long as the rich stay very, very rich.

                    • I’m honestly not a poetry fan, but I will tell you I think this ….

Obama is too stupid to bring about the horseshit we’ve been coping with by himself (he truly didn’t build that alone). I do think he is the puppet boy of more intellectual heavyweights such as Valerie Jarrett.

                • After reading your attempt at poetry…….I was reminded of my Grandmother’s phrase from years ago:

“You are as full of Hooey as a Christmas Goose “.

Your profile says you ….”do promote the Marxist Doctrine” ….and boy your “poem” is a testimony to that,as well as to all the Current Liberal Talking points given to you by the Press.

Islamofacist, Sharia-law thugs in Egypt you see as similar to the American Revolutionaries who fought for Freedom from Tyranny…….in Egypt under Mubarik women of Egypt and the West could walk in Tariri square any time without assault…..Today rape is rampant and ask Lara Logan how they treat western Women ( with Forced gang-bang rape).
You claim Iran has no nuke…..it is all a fabrication of Delusions of the Right…..But today Iran ITSELF said it is close !!
Your oh so typical anti-Israeli Hatespeech mocking them as falsely “Fulfilling God’s Prophecy” …..and yet you Enthusiastically support a Cult that claims its right to Violently convert the World because they “fulfilling God’s will”.

One could go on … but suffice it to say Your hypocrisy is so deep and your intellectual dishonesty so clear that you serve as a virtual bullet point presentation of the Cultural Rot infecting America today.

                  • boy, you really are stupid!
from my profile… I do promote the Marxist doctrine, at least when I am not praising the works of Lennon or the antics of the Stooges.
Get it now, idiot? I am referring to Groucho Marx, not Karl. Get someone to explain the difference, ask them to speak slowly, dolt!

.”.But today Iran ITSELF said it is close !! “No, they did not! Iran has repeatedly DENIED that they seek nuclear weaponry, Khameini has even issued a fatwa against nuclear weaponry. And these are people who take their fatwas seriously.

America was unsafe during out revolution, especially for Tories. I am worried about Egypt, but the revolution is not over, and there are other countries… I hope, you hate, your choice
I have dear friends in Israel, I fully support Israel’s right to exist, I just wonder why you do, because they are SOCIALISTS! You claim to hate socialism, yet would put American lives on the line to protect a socialist state HYPOCRITE!

                  • another attempt, let’s see you do better…
I went into a chat room, for I had some time to spare.
But the mood was dark and ugly, I got the heck outta there.
The emoticons were livid, the font was quite irate
the text was vexed because Barack is not from any state!

The President is a commie, and a Kenyan, that’s a fact
A democrat and a muslim, did you notice that he’s Black?
A community organizer and Chicago gangster all in one
He taxes the rich, his wife’s a bitch, but take a gander at her guns.

Now, that was just a warm-up, the best was on its way
Did you know that rock and roll is making teens turn gay?
That rappers’ native rhythms enslave our naive daughters
Scientists used hypnosis, so we’d think the globe is getting hotter

Now, you know I like to argue, and I love a good debate
I want to hear the facts, man, not why or whom you hate
If you swear, use ‘their’ for ‘there’, and climb up on a ‘latter’
if you won’t use commas, period, ‘than’ your opinion doesn’t matter

Those vapor trails behind jet planes are getting out of hand
the feds use ’em for spreadin’ barium across this oppressed land
Though it lacks rhyme or reason, we know it to be true,
just like we knew Saddam had nukes, and Roosevelt was a Jew.

                    • “I have dear friends in Israel, I fully support Israel’s right to exist, I just wonder why you do, because they are SOCIALISTS! You claim to hate socialism, yet would put American lives on the line to protect a socialist state HYPOCRITE!”

My Greg. Last time I was in Israel, they were a Democratic Republic with a parliamentary system. At best, one could argue that from an economic standpoint, Israel has followed a liberal form of socialism, but they are quite Capitalistic. Hell, even Warren Buffett bought, and operates Iscar.

Now has something changed since I left there, and you you lived there?

                    • How come you don’t use the same vectors when you describe this country as socialist? Israel has universal healthcare, they censor their news, as you see here, in this excerpt from an article in Haaretz..
Israel’s military censor, who is authorized by law to ban the publication of information he deems compromising to state security, has appeared in recent years to be caving in to pressure from senior officials in the Prime Minister’s Office and the Defense Ministry.

The chief censor, Brig. Gen. Sima Vaknin-Gil, is generally inclined toward a progressive interpretation of the law, based on the public’s right to know. But in two central issues – the strike on the nuclear facility in Syria in 2007 and the preparations for a possible attack on nuclear infrastructure in Iran – the censor’s decisions have been inexplicable, raising doubts about the motives behind them.
They have compulsory military service and strict gun laws. Sounds like a Bakanovic nightmare to me

                  • Mamas, Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up Multicultural*

                    (intro)

Our kids dress like Negroes and dance to their rhythms
Mexicans sneak in and take our jobs back home with’em.
Canada’s health care and climate ain’t all that hot,
                    They’re almost French anyway
Old Europe ‘s gone communist, I hear Asia’s about bought us
And Cubans just seem kinda gay.

Mothers, don’t let your babies grow up multi-cultural
teach’em that all Muslims are blowin’ up trucks
tell’em ev’ry religion but ours really sucks.
Mothers, don’t let your babies grow up multi-cultural
They need home schoolin’ so they won’t be foolin’
                    with any foreign-type ways.

You know, over there they eat food that’s lain for days in the dirt,
gobble up bugs and grubs, always wearin’ the same ol’ shirt
Tell your children beware of the World’s met-eric system,
don’t let’em take any second languages lessons.
If an Aussie has something to say, he has to tell us in English

Mamas, don’t let your babies grow up thinkin’ global
Don’t worry about the opinions of other nations,
We have the nukes to ensure their annihilation.
Mamas, don’t let your babies grow up multicultural
’cause only by acting as if no one’s our equal
can we justify our own ignorant ways.

*Sung to the tune of “Mamas, Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys”, by Willie Nelson

  4. G., you know I love all of you silly boys. As to Ron Paul, I wasn’t pleased by his remark; however, B. did leave out a portion of the tweet. I have a friend with PTSD, and I cannot imagine taking him shooting for therapy. That said, RP gave a FB follow-up to his comments.

    • Kells,

The man was a Marine — a COMBAT Marine. Weapons are as natural a part of his life as feminine hygiene products are to yours. RP’s tweet was offensive and revealing and his caviate does not lesson this fact.

    • “I have a friend with PTSD, and I cannot imagine taking him shooting for therapy.”

I disagree Kells. That form of rehab via classical conditioning is absolutely a brilliant idea. Who was that, Pavlov? Gosh that was long ago.

          • Say what you will, augger, say what you will. It just so happens I have been debating a silly liberal for about thirty minutes. I just know that my friend suffers horribly; I can’t imagine taking him shooting. I should like to hear what he thinks on this.

As I previously stated, I was not happy on RP’s remarks, but I do not feel he is a pacifist. I feel that he would like us to defend our country and stay the heck outta everyone’s else’s business.

            • Kells, the smile was a hint at humor.

However, if you go read up on Classical Conditioning, you might gain some insight as to why I said the idea was brilliant. Granted, General Psychology is an undergraduate course, so it’s been some time since I sat through that lecture, but I am sure that Classical Conditioning hasn’t changed that much over the years.

Sparing with liberals is fun … for a while. Just recently Greg came back providing some much needed humor, but it gets a bit boring after a while. Hopefully he’ll persuade McPherson to make a brief stop by so I can beat on his ideology for a bit. And then if we get extremely lucky, maybe their hero Rezzy will stop by for a good whooping.

I’ve actually been pondering a way to bring in some fresh liberals to beat on. I think we broke ours. 🙂

                • Kells,

You sure you aren’t referring to Watson who performed those experiments on “Little Albert” at John Hopkins Hospital? Granted, if I remember Pavlov correctly, he just conditioned dogs to salivate with a bell. Seems it was Watson who got tossed from the APA for some ethical something-or-another.

Too late for research. Going to watch the NFL on Showtime, and call it a night.

And Kells … with tattoos in the right locations, I am sure you could condition me classically anytime. 🙂

                • I am referring to Pavlov. I’m pretty sure he did more to the dogs than just ring a bell.

Oh, and you can bet your sweet tail that I shall never mark myself up, silly Augger. I rely on my freckles as they are in the right locations……

              • They were broken before they started…..

Liberals want to bring everyone and everything down to their broken warped level…..it’s what they live for….minding everyone else’s business.

  5. Will pass this along for what its worth. There is a man who lives just outside Marianna. He is a Viet Nam combat vet and likely 65 or so years old. He is a hermit, lives on the back of some old family property, down a two-trail road, by himself. He has posted no trespassing signs at the beginning of his driveway, and he isn’t kidding. He’s been in trouble with law, as recent as last year, for firearms violations and threats to others. All of us locals know not to venture down his driveway. (Any of this sounding familiar yet?) He has money, as does his family. I know the family, and I don’t know that he has been treated for PTSD for years, if ever. They (his family) are very wary of him, and have little to do with him. The man is obviously mentally ill, and can be violent. He owns firearms as most of us do. I would not take him to a firing range.

    • FC,

YOU might not take him to the range, but a buddy he served with, or someone who had been in the Nam with him may have — especially right after he had returned home and things were still fresh.

    • “(Any of this sounding familiar yet?)”

While your point is not lost on me, I would advise you to take care in that train of thought. Each ‘patient’ manifests their disease process in a very unique way … similar as to fingerprints. This is especially true with mental disorders, and vastly documented in veterans with PTSD. Even normal people, we all have a sympathetic response system, and we all have different triggers.

Your friend needs help. He just needs the right help from someone he trusts.

      • Joe and Augger,

I agree with you both that the guy needs help, and I agree that help should have been given when he got back from Nam. Whether it was offered or not, I can’t answer. I’m sure, from my own military experience around that time, it was available somehow, somewhere. Then it becomes a question of; did the guy seek, or even want, help. Did it take years for him to become as paranoid and digress to the point he’s at today? Most vets come back from combat with psychological scars. In the local lexicon, they’re messed up. I have an uncle, a cousin, and a brother-in-law, all combat vets that came back from Nam messed up, changed forever. They all deal with it better than this guy and to my knowledge none of the three received much, if any help. They are almost, but not quite, “normal”. People do have different triggers, like you say, even “normal” people (whatever that is), but when our local guy got in trouble last year, it surprised no one, nor would it surprise anyone if he killed himself or took a school bus load of children hostage. He is that far gone. Should the guy own guns? I believe the local justice system made him give them up when he got in trouble last year, but I would bet you he still has weapons.

I was listening to Obama and company’s comments on military veteran suicides last week. I’m sure you guys read it, too, where he was saying the percentage of suicide was growing, blah, blah, blah. Listening to his speech, you would believe it is the young Afghanistan and Iraq vets that are struggling so, but as is true with most things Obummer says, I had to check it out. Turns out most of the suicides are older vets; Viet Nam and 1st Gulf War, vets over 50 years old. Here’s a link to a most interesting article.

“The most extensive study yet by the U.S. government on suicide among military veterans shows more veterans are killing themselves than previously thought, with 22 deaths a day – or one every 65 minutes, on average.”

“More than 69 percent of veteran suicides were among individuals aged 50 years or older, the VA reported.”
        http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/01/military-suicides-us-veterans_n_2602602.html

Sorry this almost turned into a post of it’s own, but you have to wonder; as a society and country, are we doing enough for our veterans returning home? In rural areas such as Jackson county, is help available instead of driving to Jacksonville or Tampa or even Tallahassee. Are we, as men, ready to accept the help that is being offered instead of trying to tough it out? Does it take years of living with PTSD to wear these vets down to the point of suicide? We still have Viet Nam vets, as well as vets of more recent “wars” living in cardboard boxes under the interstate, in hobo camps in the woods, or in bunkers on the back side of rural America. Serving in the military does not come without it’s penalties. All vets need help.

        • Yes, good commentary. And yes, each veteran carries his own scars, and copes with them in different ways. That is exactly why I would not compare your scars to Joe’s, or mine, or your local vet.

Depression is a major component, and quite honestly … medicine as a whole does not understand enough about the these various mental disorders to really get on top of the problem.

With that being said (and don’t beat my ass on this), Obama, and Feinstein … they do have a point. Feinstein still carries her own brand of PTSD from the shootings she witnessed in San Fran back in the 70s or 80s (can’t remember which), so their points are not without some thought, and at times even merit.

The problem lies in their inability to NOT seize upon a crisis in order to push a poorly thought out agenda which punishes the rights of everyone else in order to “fix a problem”.

Do we need to have discussions about these violent crimes in America? You damn right we do. Does that involve the loss of liberty? It damn well should not, and in my heart …it better not.

As we’ve all stated before, and understand, the problem is not the gun (or any other object weaponized). The problem lies squarely upon the shoulders of the person using the gun. And that’s where the discussion should start, and end.

          • Kudos to you Augger and Florida for expressing so well the complex issues involving Mental illness, stress,America’s veterans and the 2nd Amendment.

  6. “As we’ve all stated before, and understand, the problem is not the gun (or any other object weaponized). The problem lies squarely upon the shoulders of the person using the gun. And that’s where the discussion should start, and end.”

    Agreed.

    • FC,

These stories happen all the time, but they never make it to the national level — until now. Have you noticed the media has been running every “anti-gun” story they can find since Sandy Hook?

      It’s not a coincidence.

      • Absolutely, while resolutely ignoring the causes of the shootings. This nut in CA obviously has a grievance with the local PD. Look for the reasons and the person behind the shooting. The weapons did not get up, walk out, and start killing people.

      • “These stories happen all the time, but they never make it to the national level — until now. Have you noticed the media has been running every “anti-gun” story they can find since Sandy Hook?”

Yes sir. And Fox News is definitely doing their part. Sadly, I think they amazingly do not realize they are now in the same boat as MSDNC, and the others.

        • Augger,

I’m not too sure FOX is actually any different than the rest, only better at their marketing. heck, on Fox & Friends this morning, they were DEFENDING the assassination of Americans just because Obama says they are “high-level” Al-Qaeda planners.

But then, anyone who thinks that any organization owned by Murdock is going to REALLY be “conservative” would probably believe that AlGore REALLY cares about ‘Climate Change.” The only concern either of them have is that it gives them a product to market — or, the appearance of one…

          • I saw that. We’ve been telling those two dolts (Melfamy, and Fatty McPherson) that Fox was liberally biased for some time.

Of course, they didn’t want to listen. All they were interested in was calling us liars and stupid (about the extent of their language reach).

Guess it’s getting close to time for those two dolts to eat some crow.

    • And I suppose the throughput of this will be … a call for a ban on police officers too, FC.

Flippant liberals. They make the best case for the resurgence of mental asylums.
