Anti-Faith Bigotry And Hate From The Left/Atheists

Here are two stories you probably haven’t seen:

OK, dictionary time:

definition of RELIGION

1a : the state of a religious <a nun in her 20th year of religion>

b (1) : the service and worship of God or the supernatural (2) : commitment or devotion to religious faith or observance

2: a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices

3archaic : scrupulous conformity : conscientiousness

4: a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith

Definition of RELIGIOUS

1: relating to or manifesting faithful devotion to an acknowledged ultimate reality or deity <a religious person> <religious attitudes>

2: of, relating to, or devoted to religious beliefs or observances <joined a religious order>

3a : scrupulously and conscientiously faithful

This means that – by definition – Atheism is a religion.  You know what else?  The Supreme Court of the United States agrees:

Court rules atheism a religion

And that means that Atheists are forcing their religion on others in the name of their religion – the very thing they claim to be fighting.  180 degree rule, anyone? 🙂

  1. I am not just an atheist, but an anti-theist. seriously people grow up and look at reality, religion is a myth. People going on in these incorrect ideologies holds back the progress of man,

    • Karl,

Myth? You can only make that claim if you totally ignore reality. But you are pointing to reality as the basis for your claim, which then means you are either lying, or your delusional. There is no middle ground.

Case in point: Christ met more than 400 specific prophecies, many foretold 750+ years before his birth. The odds of that happening are greater than statistical zero, yet you claim there is NOTHING to religion.

The same applies to the very existence of this universe. Statistics and scientific observation BOTH tell us that this universe is impossible, yet here it is.

Philosophy as well: in a world governed by causality, there is a world that came to be without cause. You want an example of the super natural? There it is, Karl.

ALL of this is REALITY! What you have is willful ignorance — pure and simple.

  2. If Christ is real and god governs the world, why is everybody not a christian, and why does god let innocent children get raped and murdered?

For thousands of years man did not know the cause of gravity, were we supposed to give up and just say the cause was god? No we kept on in scientific research and method. If the cause is unknown it does not mean god is the cause, it means the cause is yet to be discovered.

If the world is ruled by causality and I raise a child to be aggressive, and consequently my child is aggressive, does that not rule out free-will. A muslim may convert to judaism, but judaism had to be exposed to the muslim and exist before his conversion. Which means your action and thoughts are the result of what came before you. For free-will to exist, it would require a human to create mass or energy solely from thought. A feat that is clearly not possible.

    • If Christ is real and god governs the world, why is everybody not a christian, and why does god let innocent children get raped and murdered?

First, if God mandated what you did, then you’d be a slave and you could not love or worship Him. That requires free will, and free will answers your second question. He does not “allow” anything more than to let us act according to our own free will. So, if you want to blame someone for rape, blame the rapist — NOT God.

For thousands of years man did not know the cause of gravity, were we supposed to give up and just say the cause was god?

You STILL don’t know the cause of gravity (idiot)

If the world is ruled by causality and I raise a child to be aggressive, and consequently my child is aggressive, does that not rule out free-will.

If you do not have free will, why I are you arguing with me? (idiot)

For free-will to exist, it would require a human to create mass or energy solely from thought. A feat that is clearly not possible.

WRONG! For free will to exist, all that is required is for you to respond to me — as you already have. heck, your entire ideology proves free will in that it advocates a construction that does not and cannot exist in the real world (i.e. fantasy, the supreme act of will).

      IDIOT!

  3. Abandon this fantasy, I am mature enough to accept that I am a product of my environment and my thoughts and actions are based on previous experiences which are created by my environment. I you or anybody else doesn’t have free-will.

    Gravity is caused by mass.

How does god not allow anything, if god allowed free-will, which you say he does, he indirectly allows rape.

    • Gravity is “caused by mass???” What is mass? Why does it exist? If you cannot answer that, you have not answered my first challenge — you’ve only fooled yourself into thinking you have.

As for “indirectly allows,” again, the rationalizing of a petulant mind. Where matters of free will are concerned, there is only 1 person who is ever to blame: the perpetrator of said act.
