“Equality,” Huh? So Much for Evolution ;-)

WARNING: this is one of those posts meant for the “true believers” because it most definitely shows my rougher side.  In other words, this post is a heavy dose of truth and reason without any sugar to help the medicine go down – and I do NOT apologize for it (because I warned you first 😉  )

So, the SCOTUS has declared those of us who have a problem with homosexual marriage as “enemies of humanity,” have they?  I say SCOTUS either declared reason to be extinct (therefore, anything – and I mean ANYTHING – goes) or they just declared that God is real and He DOES exist!  In fact, this DOMA ruling means He MUST exist!  Here’s why.

If homosexuality is equal to heterosexuality, AND life just happened and has evolved by some indefinable means of “natural selection,” then how did “natural selection” even allow homosexuality?  I mean, has mankind ever witnessed a homosexual couple – a couple with the same XX or XY chromosome combination, making each other pregnant and reproducing?  NO!  So how did nature “evolve” these homosexuals?  That is a contradiction in the theory of evolution that MUST mean there is a Creator – period.

HOWEVER, if we argue otherwise, then we have to look at whether or not homosexuals are truly equal.  Are they equal in the reproductive process?  NO!  So, if there is no God and only the random chance of evolution, then they are – by definition – mutations (that is, assuming you believe homosexuals are born homosexual).  But we don’t like bad words like “mutation” (I know because the Looney-Left tells me so).  We’ll call it…a random line of code in the great computer program that is life without a Creator.  So, to all of you “programmers” out there: what do you do with a random line of code that has no purpose to the program’s function? 😉

Very Interesting

  1. Maybe they evolved from asexual protozoa. Just joking. What can one say other than God has provided very clear doctrine on homosexuality and man has the ability to accept or reject it. Same as stealing, murder, adultery they are all sinful behavior. Sin is sin and leads to destruction. What the SCOTUS did today was assist with the codification of sin in a society and those responsible will answer for it when the time comes. Better to be an enemy of humanity than an enemy of God. I’ll wear that badge any day of the week. The light is getting dimmer every day.

      • About all this we must remember F Engle’s …” The Origin Of the Family, Private Property and the State “.

This is ALL about the Take-down of Western Society…….very clearly outlined….and the Promotion of Homosexuality was at the Core of de-stabilizing the Family structure.

    • You were raised in a society and household where you were told that gay people are icky and you should hate them, that’s the truth of it no more no less.

People of my generation have different values to you and see and deal with gay people like my everyday, and they see that we are exactly the same as you, except a bit different.

Fortunately for people like me people like you are quite literally dying out. That’s usually how social progress occurs.

      • You were somehow raised with a Superiority complex and a Paucity of perspective.

You have ingested the Art of Liberal Hate-speech and have misinterpreted it for Cleverness, intelligence and open dialogue. You know nothing about how anyone here was raised……..That’s the Truth of it no more and in the final analysis….a lot less.

  2. It’s quite clear that there is a biological reason for homosexuality to exist.

One theory that I’ve read is that gay uncles, because they don’t have children of their own, are able to help improve the chances of their sibling’s offspring thriving. The study looked at the gay men of a pacific islander community (I think it was Samoa?), for whom extended familial ties are closer than they are in continental countries, and found in fact yes, gay uncles spent more time baby sitting and more money on gifts etc on their nieces and nephews than hetero uncles did.

You can google “evolutionary reasons for homosexuality” yourself if you want to.

    • Course Davie …. another reason could be Overpopulation.

Nature has “selected ” those it doesn’t want to Propagate ….. Sounds much more plausible than the benefits of “uncles” who buy gifts at Quips N Quotes. But fear not you can continue buying happily ……. Gifts are propogation neutral either way.

  3. Gay uncles baby sitting?
Gay uncles spending more money on gifts?
    HUH!?
    WHAT!!??

How in the hell is that relevant to anything Joe has written here? That’s an “evolutionary reason for homosexuality” how?

Coming from somebody in your “enlightened” generation, our values come from misguided idealism and quite frankly, really bad and illogical reasoning, if you want to play the generation card. What processes do we apply to practically every issue, that out due those of previous generations? I don’t see younger generations devoting their time to studying philosophical works. We’re afraid to even entertain the thought of something that makes an absolute conclusion on something! It doesn’t take much to go out to Occupy Wall Street and chant “sexist, homophobe, racist!” for hours. I can get a group of monkeys to do that.

Could it be that people disagree with homosexuality in all the different realms of thought that apply, because they have simply learned to think for themselves, following a certain process of reasoning; not based off of what those stupid, degenerate, redneck parents told them? Could it be (and this is rhetorical) that it is more progressive now to test something with rigorous reasoning in order to find out what you believe on a subject, instead of accepting something because it appeals to your emotions and the consensus OPINION of your peers? Could progressivism already be becoming irrelevant?

I’m looking forward to an actual substantial criticism of this post and not the cliche generation card and appeal to Google.

    • Wow … really Great well-thought out Comment Liber !!!!

I had to laugh at this…..”.It doesn’t take much to go out to Occupy Wall Street and chant “sexist, homophobe, racist!” for hours. I can get a group of monkeys to do that.”…………LOL

You’re RIGHT….you don’t even have to bother with monkeys…..Just go to the Huffington Post……there’s all the Chanting you’ll ever want.

      .

    • Joe asked how natural selection could lead to homosexuality since a homosexual couple cannot reproduce with one another.

I gave one theory I’ve heard – that gay uncles improve the chances of their siblings offspring (who share some genetic code) thriving by sharing child rearing behaviours with parents. I recommended people follow up with google to educate themselves. Clearly you haven’t bothered to do that because you wish to remain mired in ignorance. That’s a real pity.

The younger generation, generally, has more liberal attitudes towards social norms and attitudes. History has been one long march for society to catch up to decency.

Occupy Wall Street is largely a protest movement against economic inequality.

For you to suggest that people develop attitudes towards social phenomena independent of the society and culture that they live in is laughable.

      • Homosexuals are not a creation of natural selection. Have you read that theory? If you had — AND UNDERSTOOD IT — you would know they could never be “selected” because THEY DO NOT REPRODUCE!

You are arguing that suicide bombers can reproduce without having sex.

        • No, I am arguing there is an evolutionary reason for homosexuality. Otherwise homosexuality would have been bred out.

          • Dave,

Actually, before the homosexuals became part of the Left-wing cabal, medical science listed it as a mental disorder and had a 985 cure rate with less than a 45 recidivism rate. That pretty much proves it IS a choice.

Other evidence is the bi-sexual thing. I know people who became “bi-sexual” to be part of the crowed they were running with. Many young girls today see it as a right of passage. And all those men who lived as straight (married with kids) for years before they “came out” prove it is a choice. Those who are REALLY straight will tell you there is no way we would live gay for that many years.

History also tells us that homosexuality is connected to immorality and is almost ALWAYS an indicator of social decay and precursor to society collapse.

So, argue whatever you wish, the facts are against you because REALITY is against you.

            • Ey Joe, if TA a choice like you said then prove it. Become gay. Choose to be attracted to men. If its a choice then that means you should be able to do it. So go ahead and prove that it’s a choice by being attracted to men.

          • You seemed to miss the obvious point that Homosexuality DOES breed itself out. As I mentioned above. Which WOULD be the evolutionary reason.

  4. Mired in ignorance? So if I simply google something, then I will become “informed”? NO WAY! if I would have known that, I would have avoided thousands of dollars of debt in student loans, in favor of a google education…

The real pity Dave, is that you probably apply no critical thought to anything you read, instead accepting reaffirming content as gospel truth. That is my contention with younger generations and thus proves my point.

“History has been one long march for society to catch up to decency.”
Support that, bro. I can sound all poetic too in some lame attempt to sound enlightened.

Occupy Wall Street WAS a phony pre-planned movement with ulterior motives to “economic equality”. The outcome was young naive misguided idealists thinking that they could overthrow powerful corporations overnight by smashing out the window’s of the middlemen’s businesses in a demonstration of “civil disobedience”.

My last point was that people also think for themselves. For you to think that’s laughable proves that you obviously don’t do that.

    • Libercrite,

Dave is the latest in a long examples of a pattern I have noticed. Whenever the RNL teams up to hammer Obama or the Left or the establishment, and we are being particularly on point about it, someone like Dave shows up and says pretty much this same garbage. Funny thing is, after a few days, they go away and we never see them again.

Me tinks me smells the fruit of PRISM??? 😉

      • Oh Joe you crack me up.

        1) Obama isn’t of the left. He’s an authoritarian and has policies of the centre right.

        2) the Left isn’t establishment. The left (the true left not the corporate sellout and authoritarian left) seeks to overthrow the establishment.

Nothing wrong with a bit of healthy discussion. Can’t say I’ll be a regular here but I’ll pop up from time to time, particularly when you are advocating using the government’s laws to restrict the freedom of gay people (that’s hypocritical if you didn’t know…)

        • Dave,

          You are an ignorant commenter.

1 — Totalitarianism IS the definition of Left-Wing in this country. Obama is one of the most leftist presidents we’ve had.

2 — If the left (true left) is trying to overthrow a democratic society, then it is totalitarian, as well.

And the people have a right to legislate the moral standards of society. As it stands now, gays have just handed their argument to polygamists, pedophiles and animal lovers. These things will becomes legal next because they HAVE to be. If the gays demand they have rights, then these people can use the same arguments the gays used to demand their rights.

Personally, I don’t think you understand what a right is or how they work — not at all. You just have demands and they are those of a child: I WANT WHAT I WANT AND DON’T CARE ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES OR COST!

          • 1) there’s a difference between more authoritarian and less (unfortunately there’s no antonym). Both the left and the right can be authoritarian. On the right it’s under the fascist political system, on the left its under a communist or social economic system. However, left wing (ie liberal) values value personal social freedom (except for when that freedom can threaten others freedoms eg guns). Right wing (ie conservative) values don’t value personal social freedom, hence why conservatives want to ban abortion, ban same sex marriage, not let immigrants in, restrict voting rights etc. Conservatives only vote for free economic policies, almost never for social freedoms. Liberals vote to prevent economic freedoms which allow bosses to exploit their workers.

            2) the true left is trying to overthrow the current system because it has been completely and utterly captured by the rich elites! The rich and the lobbyists and the corporations basically own the congress members in all but name. And so the congress members continue to vote for policies which increase the wealth and power of the rich while everyone else gets shafted.

            3) two gays are two consenting adults, none of those other examples you cited are. You tried a slippery slope argument and I just pointed out the reason why it lacks merit.

            • “On the right it’s under the fascist political system, on the left its under a communist or social economic system.”

              — Dave, I think it’s rather a stretch to connect the dots between the American “right”, and Adolf Hitler. However, you are spot on about the American left, they are more akin to the likes of Marx, Mussolini, Stalin, Castro, etc. than they are Washington, Jefferson, or even Lincoln.

” However, left wing (ie liberal) values value personal social freedom (except for when that freedom can threaten others freedoms eg guns). ”

              — Interesting selection of example, Dave. Where’s the value of “personal social freedom” for women who’ve not been born yet? Would appear as if their freedom is threatened by others. 🙂

“Right wing (ie conservative) values don’t value personal social freedom, hence why conservatives want to ban abortion, ban same sex marriage, not let immigrants in, restrict voting rights etc.”

              — my Dave, you really do not understand conservative values, do you? By point:

-Conservatives do support immigration, just not illegal immigration.
-No debate on abortion. Murder is just that, murder. If the whole Gosnell mess did not clarify it in your mind, nothing ever will.
-Same sex marriage – most conservatives believe that this is a matter for the states, not the Federal Government.
-Restrict what voting rights, Dave … Melowese Richardson’s voting rights? No, I would agree. Melowese Richardson should not be allowed to vote multiple times. Sorry about that, pal.

“Conservatives only vote for free economic policies, almost never for social freedoms. Liberals vote to prevent economic freedoms which allow bosses to exploit their workers.”

Despite your belief that making abstract political statements gives you the right to say anything you want, not matter how unreasonable it is, the truth is that there absolutely no modicum of honesty in this statement. As such, I would have to ask you to give specifics to support this claim. But do try … really hard …. to not leave out evidence in opposition to this delusional assertion. Thanks.

“2) the true left is trying to overthrow the current system because it has been completely and utterly captured by the rich elites! The rich and the lobbyists and the corporations basically own the congress members in all but name. And so the congress members continue to vote for policies which increase the wealth and power of the rich while everyone else gets shafted.”

This is a statement I find completely interesting, as I have stated before that I think the Democratic party has fractured, and may soon split in to two versions (The Obama Party, and the Liberal Party).

“two gays are two consenting adults”

Yep, they are … and to eviscerate your earlier point … this conservative believes that even two wrong-headed people have the right in this country to self-determination. They will get no attempts from me to keep them from that self-determination, and opinion. However, history as taught me that the reverse has not been the same. My opinion on homosexuality has lead me to endure nothing but castigation from our benevolent gay friends. What was this about “personal social freedoms” again? Oh yeah, that’s right Dave. Gays can voice their opinions, but straight folks have to shut the hell up, right?

              Right.

    • You said “that’s an ‘evolutionary reason for homosexuality’ how?”.

I suggested you google it to find out more information than what I provided here. You didn’t. Instead you made a smarmy comment which you must have thought made you look smart or witty somehow.

If you think that you need to study a degree to find out anything then go ahead and study a biological science degree. But given that Republicans voted to effectively double the interest rates paid on student loans you may want to reconsider and just google it yourself.

Not sure why you are trying to claim the high ground on “critical thought” while belonging to the party of “legitimate rape”.

If you have lame poetic things to make you sound enlightened then let’s hear them. Here I’ll start you off: “I believe that 97% of climate scientists, in conjunction with meterologists, environmentalists, and other scientists are conducting a global scale hoax by claiming that climate change is being driven by humans in order to win government research grants, while the lobbyist research organisations which are funded by coal and oil companies are tellin us the truth.” (some people you associate with really believe this).

Can you tell me of some other social justice movement in history which has overcome entrenched power without civil disobedience? I guess the founding fathers should have just sent strongly worded letters to King George according to you (not surprisingly conservatives also opposed the American Revolution).

  5. That is an interesting pattern, Joe. I take it Dave must not be a regular?

If we never hear from you again due to the shadowy efforts of PRISM, at least there will plenty of reading material that you left behind for us, to help us pass time until the rest of us get that knock at our doors! 😉

    • Libercrite,

I lke to think I am pretty up on our commentors, and this is the first day I can remember ever seeing Dave post.

I’m NOT saying this is “proof” of anything, but it is a pattern I have noticed. 😉

      • Actually I was pointing out be contradictions about the birth of Jesus in the bible around Easter. You can go back and check the thread if you want.

I also posted in a thread about Obama’s flying robotic state sanctioned terrorist bombing murder (aka drone) program a while back too.

  6. 1. Republicans and interest rates are irrelevant, but I hear these days that smashing out windows and human chains on college campuses is a good way to combat those since were on the subject. Nice try though!

    2. I haven’t registered with any party and have a plentiful amount of gripes to go around for both parties. My ideas happen to land in the realm of agreement with the contributors here, which is why I visit this site…

    3. I knew it would only be a matter of time before you got partisan and brought up the climate issues, as if my views are the same as Republicans verbatim. Pure irrelevance. Another nice try!

    4. I’m sure if you google social justice movements, you can probably come up with a list for me too, Dave, since that seems to be the authority on facts for you.

    5. The founding father’s weren’t conservative in terms of what post-modern liberals label conservative today. Conservatives (and libertarians/classic liberals)are conservative in regards to observing and upholding the IDEAS of the founding fathers, and the philosophical ideas that influenced them. Then again if you thought for yourself, you would already know that, but you don’t, so I guess I’m not half as surprised. Nice….try…

    7. Oh yeah, the Easter “contradictions”!!! Didn’t we already debunk those though?

All I can conclude with this pointless exchange, is that you must have racked up gold stars in elementary school for your inspiring but failed effort.

  7. Dave, I would encourage you to avoid engaging with these people. Joe, in particular, spends so much time writing about how right he is, that he doesn’t seem to remember that he could actually be wrong. Even if you were the most persuasive person alive, I doubt you would get much traction here.

I feel like people who come here and argue with them are just giving them what they want. I’ve been a regular reader since the election. Sometimes they have some real insights, but here is how I make posts as absurd as this one work for me: I read the site, laugh, and wish them good luck trying to remember what relevance felt like when they eventually realize that the world has left them behind, and it doesn’t miss them.

  8. Also, now you can count on the IRS to attack religious organizations for their beliefs now as “hate speech”. They have wanted to kill our religious institutions just like the Soviet Union and communist China did and now they have the way. They will want move to remove the tax exempt status of all churches, synagogues, and yes mosques. They can imprison the preachers, priests, rabbis, and imams’ for promoting “hate speech”. They can then threaten parents who want to raise their children as straight for promoting a “hostile” living environment. And don’t think this current crop of politicians won’t try it. They will.

  9. Congratulations on having one of the most advanced blogs You will find arrive over in some period! Its merely incredible how very much you are able to take away from anything as a result of how aesthetically beautiful it really is. Youve put with each other an excellent weblog space -great graphics, movies, layout. This can be absolutely any must-see weblog!
