      • Kells, I suspect we all know who deleted my comments, but it really doesn’t matter. As I said elsewhere, at one time Utah and Joe took responsibility for what appeared here; now they don’t seem to care, as long as it comes from one of their buddies.

And though Hillary did say each of those things, each quote was taken out of context. I’ll let anyone who cares do the minimal research required to find that out. By the way, I’ve never voted for her, and can’t imagine doing so, but it find it pitiful that Dusty keeps regurgitating stuff that he apparently gets from a crazy uncle via email.

Even more pitiful is what Utah and Joe have let the RNL become. No wonder that none of the top five RNL posts from the last year (other than one phony one from Dusty, from which my comments were eliminated) were actually posted in 2013.

    • James: As we all know, and you certainly do, Hillary’s remarks are not even remotely out of context. They are the remarks of a committed Liberal/Progressive/Marxist politician whose only real ambitions are the acquisition of personal power. If you want to defend this failed ideology, since they are really all versions of Collectivism, a malignant cancer on humanity that grew out of the unnatural union of G.F. Hegel and the British Utilitarians, the most prominent of whom was Jeremy Bentham, then I welcome you to do so. Our Dear Leader is only the most recent failed wannabe tyrant in a long list that is global in its squalor. Collectivism has only ever brought shared misery for the vast majority of its victims, and high living for the elites, the nomenklatura of every Collectivist nation.

If you are interesting in defending the demonic monstrosity that is Progressivism, I invite you to do here, on these pages. Not to split hairs, obfuscate and deny reality, as Progressives are so fond of doing. Make an affirmative defense of Progressivism, if you have one. Tell us where any form of Collectivism has ever, anywhere, improved the lives of the common people of any nation ever enslaved by its fantasies. I’ll be delighted to engage your every argument and devastate each one, in a kindly but not uncertain manner. You are welcome to dispute my refutations of your Progressive ideas, but you’ll lose. I’ve never engaged in a rational disputation with a Progressive where he or she could sustain an argument in the defense of their disastrous beliefs, let alone succeed in invalidating my own. But maybe you’re special??? Let’s have some fun!!! Let’s hear why Progressivism should be given another chance in America, after failing so many times. Your move… CDE

      • Its no uae, CDE, Jimmy Mac wont write you back! He needs a while to translate all the common sense you wrote!

      • “As we all know, and you certainly do, Hillary’s remarks are not even remotely out of context.”

Actually, they are out of context, and it’s easy to check. But I’m happier to keep this thread going, as long as it’s easy to do so while I watch football, helping you folks demonstrate your own laziness and/or ignorance, than I am to go through each of her quotes and explain the context in which they were offered — especially since I’m not a Hillary fan, anyway.

If you want to engage me in “conversation,” feel free to do so on my own site: http://jmcpherson.wordpress.com/

Sorry, you seem like a decent guy; I’m just not that interested in helping prop up the RNL, especially since they’ve been deleting my comments when I happen to point out a faulty post.

  1. James McPherson always finds fault with this site and is derogatory to the people who post here. Have to question why Mr. McPherson spends time on a site he deems unworthy of his presence.

    • JJ,

First Jimmy is using a standard Tactic on the Left …. deflect by trying to change direction of the Issue. Next is the Left’s “politics of personal destruction”…attack the messanger ( if you look this about 90 % of what his posts do ).

Last don’t address the Fact that Hillary DID say these things. It is street Thug politics as prcticed by the Left.

Understand he is a So-called “professor” who teaches journalism I think…..thus His comments are routinely a shabby, rather pedestrian imitation of what happens in our Media today. And he is illusritive of what our College kids are being fed…….. Constant leftist Hate-speech and propganda instead of True ..Teaching. Which would be the facility to Research and form rational, reasoned conclusions using one’s own thinking abilities.

His comments here are as Tendentious as they are Banal…….. In Truth, he doesn’t fool many.

      • DonAmeche: “don’t address the Fact that Hillary DID say these things”

Me, previously: “though Hillary did say each of those things, each quote was taken out of context”

Thanks for helping illustrate my points, Donnie. Nice job.

      • Further …. as if it even needs explanation. Justification.
The left plays the “Context” and/or ” correct ( leftist) Interpretation” cards to “Justify” their rhetoric of derision.

The *Correct Context for Communism* ……that’s his version today.

Thanks for continually making my point so easily ….. Jimmy Mac.

        • Yeah, God forbid a conservative would read or portray anything — political articles, the Bible, the Constitution, etc. — in enough detail for context when you can just cherry-pick partial quotes that back up your meaning, right Donnie? Thanks again.

    • “why Mr. McPherson spends time on a site he deems unworthy of his presence”

I don’t think I’ve ever claimed the RNL to be unworthy of my presence, jj — in fact, comparing the 2013 numbers to those of 2012, it seems to be in need of my presence. 🙂 As I’ve noted elsewhere, Utah (and occasionally Joe) once provided much that was worth reading, even for someone who usually (not always) disagreed with them. But during the 2012 election season, it seemed that Utah was not only wrong about almost everything (including the eventual results) but also increasingly bitter.

Between the increasing stridence and the fact that they seemed to care less about what others posted (or deleted, as it turns out), more and more the RNL became the sort of thoughtless two-bit collection of personal attacks and regurgitated half-truths found throughout the blogosphere (and, for Joe, a way to drive traffic to his new blog).

As a result, I spend much less time here than I once did. But I still feel an obligation to drop by and “help out” from time to time, especially since the boys occasionally choose to write a post featuring li’l ol’ me. 🙂 If I see something by Dusty, I’ll read it because I know I can typically get a chuckle and then with no more than 30 seconds of research demonstrate that what he said was misleading or blatantly wrong. And if I see something by Joe, particularly one with the word “Nazi,” lots of capital letters, and/or exclamation points, I know that it will be so predictable that I can skip over it. I hope I’ve satisfactorily answered your question.

  2. McPherson, I believe you did answer my question. You are a troll that drops by this site to add your garbage and stir it . In your shrinking troll brain you probably think you are “helping them out.”

    • Jimmy Mac is first in line for govt handouts, esp cheese, and he demands what’s good for us is what the govt says so, as long as he can get rich and keep HIS money along with his fat cat friends!

      • Brut, that’s the funniest, dumbest thing you’ve said. Some folks at the RNL brag about being rich, and I suspect that one or two may be collectors of government cheese. And though there’s nothing wrong with either of those, I’m neither.

        • In rhe beginning the organizers first job is to create the issues and problems, right, J Mac? A la Saul Alinkskys Rules for Radicals?

          • I hear it’s a good book, but like most liberals I’ve never read it and in fact had never heard of it until conservatives started talking a lot about it. And the Tea Party folks have used what I know of its techniques better than most.

                • Dont you have anything else to do then reply to my facts, Jimmy Mac? Ooops, I forgot, its the weekend, the govt welfare offices are closed!

                  • So far I haven’t seen any facts from you to which I could respond. I suppose I could point out the multiple spelling and punctuation errors and the punctuation error that make you look even stupider than your simple lack of knowledge, but that might come across as petty. 😉 And at some level I suppose I do appreciate your willingness to keep demonstrating your ignorance.

                    • Oh, gee, what-I spell it DONT instead of DON’T? Well, call me irresponsible, I’m funny that way!

                    • Well, since you asked — on that one post, you also spelled “it’s” as “its” and “than” as “then,” along with using a comma where you should have used a semicolon, period or conjunction. 😉

                    • OMG, well, slap my ass and call me Suzy! I’m writing on a Smartphone, and my eyes aren’t the best-what’s YOUR excuse? You haven’t given ME any reasons for the liberal lifestyle, either!

                    • “You haven’t given ME any reasons…”

Nor do I feel any need to do so, Suzy — and if you really want my views on anything, feel free to read my blog. Or you can just keep making stuff up — it’s not like anyone particularly cares what some anonymous blog commenter has to say. http://jmcpherson.wordpress.com/
