Yesterday, I was chatting about some similarities between Paul and Trump. Specifically: 1) They were both against invading Iraq. 2) Trump would like to simplify the tax code, then perhaps graduate to a flat tax (Paul would like to implement a flat tax immediately, which seems unlikely), and 3) Section 1 of the 14th Amendment.
During the CNN debate, Trump stated that he questioned the legality of an illegal citizen’s newborn being granted automatic citizenship. Paul said that Trump had a point because it was written so that slaves would automatically become legalized US citizens.
Oddly enough, I came across an article where Texas seems to be questioning it as well. Apparently, undocumented citizens’ US-born children are being denied birth certificates because the parents are claiming their citizenship via the Mexican consulate. The Department of State Health Services (DSHS) claims that that they have never accepted the picture ID from the Mexican consulate (matricula consular) as proof of citizenship.
The judge wants time to chew on this. I believe it’s pretty cut and dried. If you cannot prove that you are a legal citizen of the US, how then can you obtain a birth certificate which automatically legalizes your newborn? Here’s the article. What do you think?

I’m hoping every US citizen gets behind the idea that the 14th Amendment should be interpreted as pertaining ONLY to former slaves.
Meanwhile, the Charleston area is flooding quickly. The good thing is that people here continue to be responsible for themselves & their neighbors while being just as gracious as they can be. It’s times like this that make me so thankful we chose SC to live. God was definitely guiding us. Please pray for SC, we can use all the prayers we can get. Thanks.

It’s about “Trans-Nationalism” and the attempt to FORCE Texas ( and then all States) to recognize the Mexican Document. From this follows their attempt to legitimize Open and No borders and thence the North-American Union etc.
It is using the Freedoms and Courts of the USA to bring down the USA. And in the process the Federal Gov’t will be enlisted and the State Dep’t and ultimately the SCOTUS. Thus the legitimacy of a North-American free trade union will given via a similar route as ObamaCare.
This is what happens when “The rule of Law” is interpreted as the Rule of Lawyers instead of as following the Constitution. As with muslims, La Raza and their Mexican counterparts and the Washington Establishment and US Chamber of Commerce are all using American freedoms, generosity to undermine and destroy the United States from within.
