Conservatives and Senate Republicans have a duty to the future of America to draw a line in the sand, and in a unified voice oppose President Obama’s nomination of Merrick Garland – or anyone – to fill the vacancy left by the untimely passing of Justice Antonin Scalia.
As I’ve said before and again; Conservatives have made too many compromises already, and called for too many retreats. Too many capitulations and too many collapses. Many times out of weakness and fear, sometimes out of corruption. We have even nominated candidates who prove to be agents against conservative interests in the hope of “consensus” or “accommodation” with extremists on the other side of the aisle, while leftists are always guaranteed to pick committed radicals. Not again. The line must be drawn here. This far, and no further.
