Just click on the link and watch the video, it’s only 44 seconds long:
In less than 44 seconds, this lady admits everything that’s wrong with our society, and affirms everything I’ve tried to explain to people about what the Left is all about and why they cling so desperately to their control over public education – so they can use it for indoctrination. So long as our kids remain under their influence, so long as they go to public schools and watch the main stream/pop culture media, we have lost the battle to preserve man’s individual rights and liberty. It’s that simple.
The origins of the notion that the child belongs to the State are firmly rooted in European-style totalitarianism:
“Why nationalize industry when you can nationalize the people?“
“The education of all children, from the moment that they can get along without a mother’s care, shall be in state institutions at state expense.“
“Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.“
“The teacher is engaged not simply in the training of individuals, but in the formation of the proper social life…. In this way, the teacher always is the prophet of the true God and the usherer-in of the true Kingdom of God.“
–John Dewey(incidentally, you should read “My Pedagogic Creed,” where you will learn that Dewey sees man as god, and that the “kingdom of god” he refers to in this quote is a man-made utopia where man worships himself. Yes, this is exactly what he says. Dewey was a card-carrying member of the American Communist Party, a leading founder of the American Progressive movement, and a secular humanist. His work is still the driving agenda behind the people who have seized control of our schools and now claim control of our children.)
“Education is a regulation of the process of coming to share in the social consciousness; and that the adjustment of individual activity on the basis of this social consciousness is the only sure method of social reconstruction.”
“I believe that the community’s duty to education is, therefore, its paramount moral duty. By law and punishment, by social agitation and discussion, society can regulate and form itself in a more or less haphazard and chance way. But through education society can formulate its own purposes, can organize its own means and resources, and thus shape itself with definiteness and economy in the direction in which it wishes to move.”
The present is driven by the past, which is why these same people seek to erase and/or re-write history: so they can control the present by creating an alternate past.
