Well Veena Malik is Muslim, just as beautiful, slightly less naked on the cover of FHM India but causing a big uproar in repressive Pakistan nonetheless.

Veena Malik naked FHM cover causes uproar amid ‘fake’ claims in Pakistan

Actress Veena Malik’s naked picture on the cover of the December issue of FHM India – complete with the controversial initials ISI on her upper arm – has caused a stir in her native Pakistan, amid claims the picture is doctored or a fake.

Ms Malik, who has denied she posed nude for the magazine after the images were published for the first time on Saturday, is threatening legal action.

The 33-year-old’s image and pose have resulted in uproar in Pakistan – although this is as much for the presence of the ISI logo, which represents the controversial Inter-Services Intelligence spy agency, as the nudity.

A few months ago, the ISI was accused by United States officials of supporting insurgents based in the mountainous region on the border with Afghanistan. Pakistani officials deny these allegations.

The logo, and the provocative pose, have seen Ms Malik attract criticism since their publication on Saturday morning.
