46 – 46

Rasmussen calls it a tie, with “leaners”, Romney wins:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows both President Obama and Mitt Romney attracting support from 46% of voters nationwide. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided. See daily tracking history.

When “leaners” are included, it’s Romney 48% and Obama 46%. Leaners are those who are initially uncommitted to the two leading candidates but lean towards one of them when asked a follow-up question. Beginning October 1, Rasmussen Reports will be basing its daily updates solely upon the results including leaners.

  1. This is probably going to be a close race because the sheeple are buying whatever the media feeds them. This airplane window BS is viral. I just watched the Romney video, and it was very much said in a joking manner. Naturally, that’s not what my favourite dyke, er, homosexual said: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9j0brl9ZSA&feature=related

I tell you, I can understand if a person doesn’t get a joke through the written word, but the spoken word? C’mon! Are they that f*cking stupid?!

    • No, they are not. It is being done on purpose. Obama says “you didn’t build that” and the left wants to talk context even though his actions and policies indicate that we got the context right. Romney emits 2 sentences of sarcasm and all of a sudden a man with a better Harvard record than Obama and a 40 plus year successful career in business, public service, government and has flown more than most people will ever do is an idiot.

  2. “The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows both President Obama and Mitt Romney attracting support from 46% of voters nationwide.”

Which matters not at all, of course. And in the electoral vote–which actually does matter–even Rasmussen has Romney in serious trouble at best: http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/archive/2012_electoral_college_scoreboard

And of course Rasmussen paints a more optimistic picture for Romney than does virtually any other poll.

      • About what? If your comment went with the plane window story, then no–but I hadn’t seen anything about it until well after the fact, I didn’t. If you meant something else, please clarify.

          • 🙂 Sorry, but I don’t know which speech (or which part of the speech) you’re referring to. My apologies–maybe I’m just slow this morning, trying to do too many things at once.

              • Kells, my apologies for missing the link, which I finally just watched for the first time. Since I never saw it until after I’d read (about it and knew from the context of the story that I’d read that he was joking), it’s hard for me to decide if I’d have thought he was serious. I’d like to think I’d recognize that he was joking, but I also know that personal biases are tough to overcome.

Thanks for your patience. And for the last question, which I won’t answer but which made me chuckle. 🙂

                • Trust me when I say he was joking. I’m an ESFP (as a woman.) When I am in Clark Kent mode, I’m an ENFP. It’s ironic, really, because I do seem to have two personalities (An entertainer and a journalist.)

I’ve acted and directed far too many shows to miss that his comment was a joke. I know when Obama is joking, as well. (That’s why I got the P in my personal summary as Supergirl and Clark.)

When the hello are you gonna post again? I believe you’re becoming as lazy as B.!

                • I actually posted something yesterday, Kells, though it may not be as interesting to you as the usual political stuff. Now that school is in session, I have less time for blogging.
