Yes- I understand it. What’s your point?
So Soros, one of the most astute investors over the past couple of decades is saying, in essence, the US dollar is dying, and the Chinese Yen is on the rise. Reality is a bitch.
While the right and left have been playing the blame game, few- in our government, media, think tanks, industry, or society have been willing to address the truth. The old economy is dead. And the new economy must be nurtured, which it largely isn’t- due to politics, if it is to thrive. As an example- manufacturing is alive and well- but it’s no longer the real of those with a high school education at best. It’s increasingly automated. And increasingly requires highly skilled workers.
And of course- after the US econly tanked the Euro was the promise. “till Europe imploded. And of course Beck and his ilk pushing “gold”… precious metals traditionally doing well when traditional currencies fail- then crashing. And not being able to support the wild fluctuation on their own merit- a market where those that buy/sell at the right time do very well- profiting on the masses that get ******.
So yes- the US is stagnant. After years of decline. While China is coming out of years, of decades of stagnancy, to become a rising (red…or more realistically “pink”) star on many fronts.
So do we shoot the messenger? Continue playing the partisan games? Or do we become the UNITED states of america again, and do what we can do so well…?
The “new” economy has been “government control” which has placed America in this precarious situation.
O and the progressives (communists in reality) have purposely undermined capitalism through fascism.
Capitalism is the only way out, but the communists are in control and won’t allow it.
When the dollar is nothing but paper, riots across America will ensue.
Capitalism hasn’t caused this, government control and strangulation of capitalism is causing this.
It will be interesting for O and his communist buddies when China says step down, we are placing “our people” in charge.

Good point, the progressives (Commies, Marxists, et al.) have done a masterful job of lieing and misleading the American populace and the world, that “our capitalism” is the cause of all our woes. When in reality it is the Government intervention, controls, and tax payer incentives which have destroyed Americans as THE “economic powerhouse” of the world.
A free market and capitalism, (free from Government control as described by Thomas Jefferson) and as espoused Frederic Bastiat, Milton Friedman, Thomas Sowell, and Walter Williams.
For the last century, our Government has overstepped it’s Constitutional bonds, and we are NOT living in a free market/capitalist environment.
Lower government spending, lower tax rates, burn the regulations written by the communist bureaucrats… allow people to work hard and profit from their risk taking.

Have you been to China in the past for years? While they may have a communist government in theory they are also practicing capitalism like that unseen in the US since the early half of the 20th century in America.
But oh yes, Obamas a communist. (wait- I thought he was a socialist. or a facist. Guess it must be friday). I guess that’s why no one that helped cause the financial collapse has been prosecuted. Why the stock market is soaring. Why corporate profits are at record levels. While domestically produced oil and gas are at record levels.
OK then, brain trust; Kindly impart to us unwashed conservative cretins…, If everything is so Hakuna with the stock market & corporate profits, and our energy production is moving like shit shot out of a cannon, WHY DOES EVERYTHING OUT THERE STILL SUCK BUNNY BALLS?
Newsflash, there hoss…….Debt is in the stratosphere, we BORROW .43 cents of every dollar expended, Interest rates are kept artificially in the commode, REAL unemployment is north of 23%, 48 MILLION on food stamps, our debt rating is suckish, and very soon to get suckier, foreign policy is a shambles, Medicare was just raided by these progressive jackasses to the tune of 716 BILLION dollars in order to support welfare rats, consumer debt is skyrocketing due to people trying to just pay their bills, our houses still aren’t worth dick, car loans are quickly becoming out of reach for more and more folks, consumer spending is down, We’re printing money like gangbusters, REAL inflation is between 8-10% (look at your grocery bill) Taxes have just gone up, my health insurance has gone up almost 60% in the past 4 years under this Communist fruit-bruiser, and gas has doubled! And to put the pinko cherry on top of all THAT, these intellectual giants think we trust em enough to turn our guns over to em! HA! NOT gonna happen.
If you are trying to sell Americans on your premise that everything is riding smoothly out there, and we conservatives are just being dilusional about our current circumstances, I would put forth that it’s time to cut your medication in half, and to quit gargling with your bong water…… Stop seeing what you WANT to see because it is ideologically convenient, and start seeing what is REALLY there.

You do of course, oh enlightened conservative, realize that gas prices just under tripled under Bush jr? That your BS claim that gas prices “doubled” under Obama is based on the price after bush lost/Obama won, before Obama took office- when the US and world economies collapsed? When gas prices plumetted from their 2+ year new normal of $4+ to $1.86? That gas prices under Obama have, more often then not- been below the prices of the last few years of Bush?
And of course you do realize that the conservative hero Ronald Reagan oversaw the largest increase in our nations debt in modern history? Clinton the smallest? Bush Jr second highest? And obama and bush sr battling for the middle?
Consumer debt is skyrocketing? better check your facts. It’s actually plummeting. From it’s high under Bush jr- along with the housing crisis…when americans were taking far more then they could afford.
And ah yes- please, please show me any plan to make americans “turn over their guns”

The people voted for this. They obviously want it because they keep voting for the same representatives over and over for years. So we should embrace it as the change that Obama was talking about back in 07-08. It is the will of the American people as demonstrated by who they elected to represent them.

BUNK! The people who get elected do so ONLY because they lie and the media conspires with them to allow their lies. If they were honest about their agenda, and/or the media exposed said agenda, they would NOT be elected. There is ample evidence to support this claim, as well.
