Somehow, it seems oddly fitting that this lesson should involve our school system. Anyway, here is the story:

Now, our first reaction shouldn’t be about the language problem inherent in this story, or even this child’s “rights,” but for the welfare of the child. At this age, the child hasn’t even reached puberty, so it is highly unlikely that the child has any “gender identity” issues. It is more likely that this is the work of his parents. Now, if a child can be removed from parental custody for being obese, why can’t we make a case for taking this child from these parents? Oh, I forgot: the rights of the 2-4% of the GBLT community trump the rest of society – including those of this child (democracy in action for you, huh?).
Anyway, back to the issue at hand.

Definition of SEX

And now, logic time:
Since gender is based on the physical structure of one’s sex organs, which in this case are male, this child does not have a claim to the girl’s bathroom. Even if we grant the parents’ claim of “gender identity,” that still doesn’t impart a right to use the bathroom of the opposite gender. This is a simple, deductive conclusion based on the definition of the words. That means this is as tight as it gets, folks. The parents are wrong.
This brings us to what is really at hand here: the pleading of special rights and the use of government coercion to enforce them on the vast majority of society. And that makes this story little more than an emotional appeal for special case – which happens to be a fallacious argument. But, because our society is now dominated by irrational people, it is likely the people of this community will – once again – be forced to accept something to which they object to appease the demands of 2 people.
Now, if only we could get the government to force the rest of society to accept our individual rights and liberty and to make them leave us alone so we can live their lives from of their meddling. But no, no, we can’t have that: some pigs are more equal than others, you see…

They still steal kids from their parents for making rational but different decisions from the norm ( homebirth, vegetarianism or not vaccinating come to mind- whatever the medically inclined but ill informed like to think) Parents like the above ruin it for everyone. If they so strongly believe in their alternative lifestyle then just do it and leave the rest of us alone. I don’t think it is right to steal children because they are fat, either. It’s despicable to hit children ( or ‘spank’ them, as so many people call it) too, but I don’t think the occasional smack is a good enough reason to take a child away. I don’t understand how a 7 year old can be transgender, but if I were a boy, I’d prefer to use the girls toilets, too. Have you ever seen how nasty the boys’ toilets in a school are?
I know! Let’s put all the public schools on cruise ships. That way they can urinate and defecate in the hallways.
It’s not as if schools aren’t already giant swirling ships of shit already.
They’ve already passed a law in Massachusetts about bathrooms and gender identity. So 14 year old Johnny can identify as a boy at home, but when he gets to school, he identifies as a girl and gets to use the girl’s restroom. And parents aren’t allowed…or the schools aren’t allowed to tell the parents which gender their child identifies with at school. It’s a sick, sick world out there.
