People keep telling me to offer my plan to save the GOP from the GOP. When I saw this article, I got to thinking:
Biden: Americans Are With Democrats on Every Major Issue
“For the first time in my career, Nancy, on every major issue, the American people agree with the Democratic Party,”
While Biden is wrong about the American people, and the body of the article points this out, I’m not so sure Biden is wrong about the GOP. The GOP may not publically agree with everything the Democrat Party is pushing, but stories like this one sure make it seem like they are quietly trying to work with the Democrats to push a common agenda:
NOW BEFORE YOU JUMP ON ME, I have been thinking about how we can ‘rescue’ the GOP from itself, and I found something that might work. I got my idea from a former ‘Conservative’ leader of the GOP:
I added this to another idea from another leader of ‘Conservative Republicanism,’ Rush Limbaugh, who is always telling us to ‘follow the money.’
Well, OK, if these things are ‘Conservative’ principles, then let’s use them to “Save the GOP by abandoning the GOP.” And the easiest way to do that is to take away the GOP’s funding. What’s more, we even have evidence that this approach may actually work. In fact, there’s even a Twitter hash tag for it: #DefundThegop. And here’s more on the evidence that this can and may already be working:

Beck said scornfully that while the establishment is begging to have some of its funding restored, many of its members are not “even paying attention” to the Internal Revenue Service scandal.
“We’ve tried absolutely everything,” Beck said. “We’ve tried to be nice. We’ve tried to come with signs. We’ve come with our families. We’ve changed our life … And we have taken it every step of the way. The only time [your] shadow has ever crossed my threshold is when you’re suddenly being cut off by funds — it seems to me it might be working.”
So, starve the beast: keep your money from the GOP. You can still donate to GOP candidates, but you have to do so directly! Do not go through the Republican Party. After all, it is the Party we are trying to kill, not the individual members.

I quit dolin out dough for the party a while back ago. I only give to the candidates these days. Duh. Guess GB should’ve called me. An important point to mention is that you may get your voice heard through social media…….then again, it may be yet another issue that they ignore. I don’t. If I were a Democrat, I’d be shakin in my boots……unless Obama hooked me up with a zombie voter.
When you get mailings from Republican Candidates requesting money (donations), be sure and check the bottom of
the request form you mail back with your check. Although you are supporting the candidate, it generally states at the
bottom of the form that a portion of your donation will go to support party (GOP) functions and expenses.
Got three more requests today, making seven received this week!

To rub salt into the wounds….. I heard Rush today mention articles that said the GOPs In Congress are NOT pursuing the IRS scandal because they WANT the IRS to destroy the Tea Party and other Conervative / Patriot groups. Even if it means the GOP will lose a few cycles. The Current Republican Party wants to stay on the Gov’t freebies trough of Good-ole-boy, RINO, Corporate Welfare at all costs…..the costs of course being born by the American Taxpayer and Citizen.
On the positive side he also said the TP has already out-raised the Establishment Bush Family, Karl Rove, Boehner, Paul Ryan, Christie et al Croney Partty Syndicate ….. :- )) .
Time to LEAVE the GOP — nd take our money and votes with us.
My Money and Votes ( except for people like Ted Cruz, Gohmert and Lee..etc.. in which case I’m voting for the person ) has been LONG gone.

Agreed. But then, I have never advocated anything different than this. You can abandon a PARTY while still supporting a principled INDIVIDUAL 🙂
