Have They Assumed Control?

They may have assumed control.  Michael Smith once again has jolted the brain and leaves images of the mind that would have been unthinkable a few short years ago.  The poor guy couldn’t get to sleep the other night.  Little wonder why, with what he was think about.  I wouldn’t be able to sleep either thinking about was he was, and if I were able it would probably be a nightmare.  Just like Mr. Smiths.  So why should we be the only one staying up at night…now for your “reading pleasure” here is what brought us to night frets.

I was struggling with a little insomnia last night and for some reason, I started thinking about this idiot, Dylan Matthews, who “explains” things to us via Vox. 

This is the little communist twit who wanted to abolish the Senate as soon as the GOP took over because it was useless for pushing a progressive agenda – little did he know that our establishment friends in the GOP were nothing to fear due to their own progressive bent.

The problem is that the deck is stacked in favor of small states, which receive equal representation in the Senate despite dramatic variance in population. The Senate is a profoundly anti-democratic body and should be abolished.

Setting aside the fact that Vox is a “progsplaining” site, one dedicated to spinning everything from a progressive perspective, given little Dylan’s youth and lack of life experience, one would think a site dedicated to “explaining” things would at least want to hire people who actually understood the things they “explain”.

Not Vox.

Vox is the Internet version of the “Daily Show” without the intentional comedy.

Now that little Dylan has realized the Senate isn’t going away because of…the U.S. Constitution, he wants us to have a parliamentary form of government so a singular party can just rule without interference from the minority party. It is clear that little Dylan assumes that Democrats will be that party.

This has been a theme during the entire Obama presidency – the left, particularly the old communists and the immature and coddled youth have praised communist states and yearned for Obama to be gifted with the powers of the singular Dear Leader.

One expects this from the old commies but aren’t youth supposed to be rebellious in search of their own freedom? Aren’t they supposed to be the ones yearning to break free and be on their own?

Sure doesn’t seem so today. Universities have become the centers of repressive, eliminationist thought.These are now places where speech codes and prosper and due process withers.

Students have pushed Thomas Jefferson aside in favor of Mumia Abu Jamal and strive for collectivist bondage rather individual freedom.

Maybe our emasculated, single parent, largely fatherless, lack of commitment, divorce ridden culture has something to do with it. Since a growing number of our young people are growing up without a strong family unit with a father to model, perhaps they fear independence and leadership and seek safety and comfort in a collective unit. Perhaps the reason they seem to want a monarch or a Dear Leader is that they do not trust themselves and want to be told what to to – knowing that this absolves them from responsibility.

Our country was built by independent people. The Colonists were a “do it myself” culture. They had to be. If you didn’t, you didn’t survive. People who came here to the wilds of colonial America knew they had to be self-sufficient and were willing to face those challenges for the chance to be free.

Former Soviet premier, Nikita Khrushchev remarked in a speech in Yugoslavia, “I once said, ‘We will bury you,’ and I got into trouble with it. Of course we will not bury you with a shovel. Your own working class will bury you.”

Our consumerist, indolent, pampered youth are not willing to shoulder the burden of independence. In general, they think experiencing a hard time is having a low battery on their iPhone with no power outlet in sight.

I’m afraid America is the victim of its own success. We have produced generations ripe for communist domination and the old commies know it.

They are passing out the shovels to a generation with daddy issues.

So is Mr. Smith correct in thinking America’s future is tied to a generation that feels freedom isn’t worth the effort it takes to remain a “free” nation?  Or have we been so beaten down that the one’s working for “The American Way” have been to busy to heard above the din of those clamoring for the Obama/Progressive agenda.

America isn’t about politics, its about the yearning to be free to pursue the liberty that Nature and Nature’s God has given to each and every person born to this great Nation as a birthright.

Have they assumed control?  Lets pray to God they haven’t.
