Remember last year with I wrote this parody of an Obama voter?
I’m also voting for Obama because he is protecting my ladyparts in the War on Women that the nasty Republicans are fighting with Sandra Fluke. It is such a shame that in a rich country like America that a 30 year old professional student can’t get her contraception paid for whether she is pretty enough to need it or not. I also know that Obama is working so hard to protect women that he has to use the money that he would pay women who work for him more but he doesn’t have enough and has to pay them less than the men…but I don’t care about that because he says that he wants other people to pay women the same as men and that’s OK with me.
Everybody should vote for Obama! Yea!
He is so awesome on the economy, too. He says that he has made 5 million jobs and I just love that. The nasty, non-awesome, white Republicans say that it was only 325,000 jobs but I know Obama wouldn’t lie. He has had lots of trouble because that mean Bush left such a mess for him. All of those people who dropped out of the workforce are just having funemployment because Obama is sending them all a check so that they can have fun for 99 weeks. I just know that I will have a job in his government when I get my degree in Russian poetry of the 1800’s.
I’m so smart – like Obama. Yea, me!
I like Obama because he is black, and you know what they say about black guys…they have big…ideas! Ha. Ha. I’ll bet you thought I was going to say penis, didn’t you? Well, anyway, I think he is sexy and I sometimes fantasize about how cool my friends would think I am if I had a minority boyfriend. It would be so edgy…amiright? Kinda like having a pet that nobody else has. Cool…so cool. Once black, never back, I always say. Or at least that’s what it says on that “Blacks on Blondes” website and the Internet doesn’t lie. The government won’t let them say something that isn’t true. It’s like a law or something.
Bl-ack Hussein Obama, he is what’s for dinner. Yum.
Good old Muffy Morrison Wofford-Kennedy, Vassar College, Class of 2013…well, Stacy McCain has found her sister by another mister:
Hilarity ensued Monday after @Andria_XX complained that social-media criticism of Miley Cyrus included “bodyshaming/slutshaming” and “heteropatriarchal crap.” Readers will recall that Andria has an “Honors BA in Social Justice and Peace Studies” and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Gender Studies. So . . . how’s that going?
“I have a honors BA and I’m defending my MA thesis in two weeks. I am also apply for jobs and I can only find stuff in the service industry. I applied for a Hotel Front Desk Clerk job today. My degrees mean NOTHING. I am at the end of my rope.“
What? Being an advanced student of useless ideology doesn’t result in meaningful employment? That’s just really . . . unfair.
Speaking of prices, Forbes just published an article titled “America’s Most Expensive Colleges” that included this nugget:
Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers, N.Y., has long held the dubious honor of being one of the nation’s most expensive colleges. This year, it tops the list for the second year in a row, with an all-in price of $58,334 a year, or close to $240,000 for a four-year course of studies if inflation in higher ed continues on its current course.
$240K? A simple spreadsheet calculation shows that $240K at 3% interest for 10 years amounts to $2,317 per month. That’s $27,800 per year. To keep this at a manageable level of 20% of net income, this would require a starting net salary of $139,000, grossed up for 35% taxes, that is a starting gross of $187,650. How many Africana Studies graduates do you think are going to command that princely sum?
I’m picking on Sarah Lawrence but the same analogy works for just about any college. I’ll say it again, some degrees you get to get paid, some you just pay to get.
I’m sure that there are some degrees that are offered at Sara Lawrence that would generate some payback on that debt load but about 75% of them don’t have a chance in Hell of doing so. Have a look at what is offered below (from the Sarah Lawrence College website):

I’ve been wrong. Most of these people aren’t Marxists or communists. They are just simpletons who chose badly and now are looking for someone to blame for their circumstances – anyone but themselves. They don’t want equal opportunity, they just want someone else to pay for their choices. This isn’t communism, it is a tantrum. If it is treated as such, it will pass.
They are just searching for someone else to take the responsibility.
These people are generally known as “Democrats”.
John Hinderaker at Powerline has more dumbass, so brazen as a matter of fact, it could only be believed by one of those weak minded things called a “Democrat“:
The Democrats’ appeals are so transparently dumb that it seems inconceivable that they could work. But they do; in fact, they are doubly effective. Not only do they raise money, but they inspire and motivate millions of people who have no idea what the issues are, and whose interests are probably adverse to the Democrats’, to turn out and vote for their team.
A very wise friend of mine once told me: If you are going to earn a degree, make sure it has a purpose OTHER than propegating its own species 🙂
This is why I feel it is crucial that young people take the plunge and invest their time, talent and parent’s savings in pursuing the prestigious Underwater Basket Weaving degree. Quite frankly, I feel as if I could do a commercial touting my experiences and knowledge in obtaining my Masters in the field. Poor Adrian. Everyone knows that attaining a degree in Gender Studies only leads to poor grammar.
“Ethnic and Diasporic Studies”
Oh damn! I missed out. 😦
Ethnic and Diasporic Studies? What is that?
Is that like a “journalism” or “education” degree instead of an English Literature, history, math or economics degree?
All these wonderful college degrees to indoctrinate our young into Progressive/Marxist ideologies with no ability to actually know how to do anything…
“Ethnic and Diasporic Studies? What is that?”
Well, the answer will likely sicken you ….

And there you have it, lol.
I think the end result of that degree is “barista”.
A barista with “sensitivities”.
Ethnic and diasporic sensitivities, no less…
Lack of wisdom strikes again. Hard to believe you need 6 years of higher education to know the difference between a man and a woman. Isn’t that something we all learn by the time we first learn to speak Mommy and Daddy.
Oh well, it’s an easy A.
Glad I grew up in saner times when we didn’t have five or six different genders to learn. It’s all so confusing now. Please someone tell me what I am. I have all these feelings I can’t explain. What a load of manure.
